Massage device
A massage device has a position adjustable handle along a handle slot that extends along a portion of the cane support. The cane support has a support extension portion, or the long substantially linear portion, an arc portion that extends from the support extension in an arc or cure and a head portion. The handle slot may extend a portion of the length of the cane support and along the support extension to the head portion. A vibration device is coupled to the head end of the cane support and may be decoupled from the cane support by a vibration dampening material that extends around the vibration device within a chamber. The vibration dampening material extend out to form a locking ring between the vibration assembly and the massage head. A user can comfortably hold the massage head against their body without excessive vibration in the cane support or handle.
MULTIPLE ACTUATOR VIBRATION THERAPY
A method includes disposing a plurality of actuators about a subject, each actuator being configured to generate a respective vibration signal, each vibration signal applying a normal force to the subject, and controlling the plurality of actuators such that the respective vibration signal of each actuator of the plurality has a respective vibration characteristic. Each actuator is oriented such that the respective vibration signal propagates along a longitudinal axis of the subject for stimulation of the subject remote from the plurality of actuators.
Pneumatic joint separator for lower body alignment
A leg muscle, abdominal muscle, and spinal exercise device adapted for imparting curvature to a lumbar or sacral spine of a user and for manipulating the spine and intervertebral discs with decompression force includes a frame for placement on a floor. The frame has a top surface and a bottom surface, wherein the top surface and bottom surface are in a spaced apart relationship forming a hollow portion there between. At least one inflatable bladder is carried by the top surface of the frame. A body strap attachment passes through the frame in non-fixed relationship and is partially disposed within the hollow portion for encompassing the user's thoracic-sacral spinal region and securing said frame. An elongate stirrup strap member is attachable to the body strap attachment thereby connecting to the user's spinal region. A stirrup is attachable to the stirrup strap member distal end.
MASSAGE UNIT AND MASSAGE MACHINE HAVING MASSAGE UNIT
A massage unit includes a treatment member; an arm that supports the treatment member; a drive shaft that supports the arm and causes the treatment member to approach and be separated with respect to a treatment target site; a movable portion that causes the treatment member to be operable in a direction of being separated from the treatment target site when the treatment member comes into contact with the treatment target site by a force equal to or greater than predetermined strength; and biasing means for biasing the treatment member in an approaching direction.
Treatment Device and System
A treatment system including a treatment device for treating a treatment area of a person's body is provided. The treatment device may include one or more treatment elements or treatment balls and a clamp or securement mechanism. The clamp or securement mechanism may include a first opposable portion and a second opposable portion, wherein at least one of the first opposable portion and the second opposable portion includes a receptacle configured to releasably hold a treatment element. The clamp or securement mechanism may be transitioned between an open configuration and a closed configuration. The treatment device may be used to apply pressure and a desired temperature to the treatment area, such as to apply pressure and a cold temperature to a portion of a person's ear to help treat ear injuries, which may help to reduce the likelihood of developing deformities (e.g., “cauliflower ear”).
Portable therapeutic apparatus
A portable therapeutic apparatus is disclosed. The portable therapeutic apparatus may include a handle, a protrusion, a resistance element, and an adjustment element attached to the handle. The handle may include a first slot that houses the resistance element. The protrusion may include an indentation. The resistance element may include an elastic element.
Musculoskeletal vibration system for jointed limbs
A system provides compression of a limb of a patient and out-of-axis restraint of a joint of the limb being compressed and application of vibration to a first end of the limb so that the vibration is transmitted through the first end of the limb, the compressed joint, and through the remainder of the limb.
ADAPTIVE COMPRESSION THERAPY SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Systems, devices and methods for providing active and/or passive compression therapy to a body part can include a compression device worn over a compression stocking. The compression device can have a pulley based drive train that is driven by a motor to tighten and loosen compression elements, such as compression straps, in a precise, rapid, and balanced manner. Sensors can be used in the compression device and/or compression stockings to provide feedback to modulate the compression treatment parameters.
Tissue compression device with tension limiting strap retainer
Tissue compression devices having a tension limiting strap retainer and methods of using the same. The tissue compression devices described herein may include a strap retainer that is attached to a base by an elastic member that is configured to draw the strap retainer towards the base. The tissue compression devices described herein may also include a tension indicator that extends between the base of the tissue compression device and strap retainer. The tension indicator may be configured to limit the travel distance of the strap retainer away from the base in response to forces acting on the strap retainer. The tension indicator may also provide visual feedback to a user of the tension force in a strap to attach the tissue compression device to a patient.
PORTABLE PERCUSSIVE MASSAGE DEVICE
A percussive massage device that includes a housing that defines a housing interior, a battery, a motor positioned in the housing, a switch for activating the motor, and a reciprocating shaft operatively connected to the motor and configured to reciprocate in response to activation of the motor. The reciprocating shaft includes a distal end that defines a reciprocation axis. The housing includes a first side portion and a second side portion that cooperate to define the housing interior and are defined on opposite sides of the reciprocation axis.
