COMPOSITIONS, TREATMENT SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR IMPROVED COOLING OF LIPID-RICH TISSUE

Compositions and formulations for use with devices and systems that enable tissue cooling, such as cryotherapy applications, for alteration and reduction of adipose tissue are described. Aspects of the technology are further directed to methods, compositions and devices that provide protection of non-targeted cells (e.g., non-lipid-rich cells) from freeze damage during dermatological and related aesthetic procedures that require sustained exposure to cold temperatures. Further aspects of the technology include systems for enhancing sustained and/or replenishing release of cryoprotectant to a treatment site prior to and during cooling applications.

Display device

A display device includes a cover part, a driving unit for transmitting an external force to the human body through the cover part, and a display unit that is provided at a position of the cover part through which the external force is transmitted to the human body, and indicates a display in accordance with the external force transmitted from the driving unit.

VARIABLE COMPRESSION BODY ANCHOR

In some embodiments, a body anchor for supporting an assistive device can include: a cuff to exert a compression force on a body part of a user; and one or more tensile elements having first ends and second ends. The first ends of the tensile elements can be configured to be attached to the assistive device. The second ends of the tensile elements can be arranged about the cuff to cause the compression force to vary in proportion to a load exerted by the assistive device.

PERCUSSIVE THERAPY DEVICE WITH ORIENTATION, POSITION, AND FORCE SENSING AND ACCESSORY THEREFOR

A percussive therapy device includes a housing, an electrical source, a motor positioned in the housing, a switch for activating the motor, a push rod assembly operatively connected to the motor and configured to reciprocate in response to activation of the motor, and at least one of an angular position sensor configured to obtain angular position data of the percussive therapy device and a linear position sensor configured to obtain linear position data of the percussive therapy device. An attachment module is configured to be operably connected with a percussive therapy device and includes a housing, a wireless connection module, and at least one sensor configured to obtain biometric data of the user or obtain information regarding operation of the percussive therapy device.

PERSONAL USE EXTRACORPOREAL LOW INTENSITY SHOCK WAVE DEVICE TIP FORCE DETECTION AND ANNUNCIATION MEANS AND METHODS FOR USING SAME
20210219999 · 2021-07-22 ·

A tip force monitoring and annunciation means which permits maintaining proper tip pressure during treatment of self-applied acoustic wave treatment for various parts of the user's body by an untrained user. The several embodiments of the disclosure employ designs, materials, and manufacturing methods which are inexpensive and consistent with current manufacturing practices. The functionality, size, cost, simplicity, ease of use, reliability and robustness of the proposed designs are all advantageous.

ABDOMINAL AND LEG MASSAGE DEVICE AND METHOD OF USE
20210236371 · 2021-08-05 ·

A massage tool that provides direct therapeutic pressure to the ventral rami and femoral nerves, and/or the psoas and iliacus muscles is disclosed. The tool includes upward pointing blades that may be properly aligned with the nerves and/or muscles to gently lengthen the nerves and relax the muscles. This in turn may lessen pressure to associated joints and bones thereby providing relief to chronic back and/or leg pain.

PERCUSSIVE THERAPY DEVICE WITH ELECTRICALLY CONNECTED ATTACHMENT

A percussive therapy system includes a percussive therapy device that includes a housing, an electrical source, a motor positioned in the housing, a switch for activating the motor, a push rod assembly operatively connected to the motor and configured to reciprocate in response to activation of the motor, and an attachment configured to be operatively connected to a distal end of the push rod assembly of the percussive massage device and to provide at least one therapeutic effect to a user. The attachment may include at least one of an actuator configured to provide the at least one therapeutic effect to the user and a sensor configured to obtain at least one of biometric data of the user and information regarding operation of the percussive therapy device.

SELF-CONTAINED PORTABLE POSITIONABLE OSCILLATING MOTOR ARRAY WITH STRAP TENSION SENSING ELEMENTS

A medical device system is disclosed that includes a wearable harness worn, during use, on a torso of a subject. Engines coupled to the wearable harness may apply an oscillation force to at least one treatment area of the subject in order to mobilize at least some secretions in an airway within the subject substantially adjacent to the at least one treatment area. The wearable harness may be secured on the subject using one or more straps coupled to the wearable harness. A controller may determine a tension force applied by at least one of the straps by receiving, measurements of at least one property from a force sensing element (e.g., a force sensor) integrated with the strap. The tension force may also be correlated to forces being applied to the subject by the engines.

PORTABLE PERCUSSIVE MASSAGE DEVICE

A percussive massage device that includes a housing that defines a housing interior, a battery, a motor positioned in the housing, a switch for activating the motor, and a reciprocating shaft operatively connected to the motor and configured to reciprocate in response to activation of the motor. The reciprocating shaft includes a distal end that defines a reciprocation axis. The housing includes a first side portion and a second side portion that cooperate to define the housing interior and are defined on opposite sides of the reciprocation axis.

APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR RELIEVING TIGHTNESS IN THE HIP FLEXOR MUSCLES
20210283000 · 2021-09-16 ·

A massage device for targeting the hip flexor muscle groups. The massage device includes laterally adjustable arcuate massage elements that protrude upwardly from a base. The massage elements may have a variety of curvatures, length, or thickness to impart a desired therapeutic massage. The adjustable Massager allows the user to select the right massage element structure, depth and adjustability, so that they can effectively release their tight hip flexor muscles.
