An apparatus for assisting a finger motion, including a palm support installed to surround a part of a hand-back and a wrist; an extension assist unit secured at a first side thereof to a middle phalanx region of a finger and connected at a second side thereof to the palm support to assist extension of the finger through an elastic force between both ends; and a flexion assist unit comprising a distal phalange support mounted on an end of the finger, and a first flexion wire and a second flexion wire mounted on a part of the finger and assisting flexion of the finger on the basis of tensile force supplied from an outside.
WALKING TRAINING SYSTEM, CONTROL METHOD THEREOF, AND CONTROL PROGRAM
A walking training system according to the present embodiment includes: a treadmill; a load distribution sensor; an imaging device that takes an image of a trainee; a specifying unit that specifies, from the image taken by the imaging device, whether a load detected by a load distribution sensor is a load received from a sole of a right leg of the trainee or a load received from a sole of a left leg of the trainee; and a determination unit that determines, based on a status of a load received from a sole of one leg, out of the right leg and the left leg of the trainee during walking training, in a standing state that is detected by the load distribution sensor, whether the sole of the one leg in the standing state is located within a load detection area of the load distribution sensor.
Hybrid terrain—adaptive lower-extremity systems
Hybrid terrain-adaptive lower-extremity apparatus and methods that perform in a variety of different situations by detecting the terrain that is being traversed, and adapting to the detected terrain. In some embodiments, the ability to control the apparatus for each of these situations builds upon five basic capabilities: (1) determining the activity being performed; (2) dynamically controlling the characteristics of the apparatus based on the activity that is being performed; (3) dynamically driving the apparatus based on the activity that is being performed; (4) determining terrain texture irregularities (e.g., how sticky is the terrain, how slippery is the terrain, is the terrain coarse or smooth, does the terrain have any obstructions, such as rocks) and (5) a mechanical design of the apparatus that can respond to the dynamic control and dynamic drive.

Disclosed is a rehabilitation training apparatus. The rehabilitation training apparatus includes a pair of first tracks formed parallel to each other along first axis, a second track disposed on the pair of first tracks, and moving along the first axis, and formed along second axis, a hand holder disposed on the second track, and moving along the second track, and on which at least one of hand and arm of a user is held, a stopper for a track disposed on the pair of first tracks for limiting a movement range of the second track, and a stopper for a holder disposed on the second track for limiting a movement range of the second pair of first tracks, wherein the first axis and the second axis are disposed with an inclination.
Exoskeleton and mounting arrangement
There is disclosed a mobility aid for use by a user having a lower body amputation site. The mobility aid includes a lower body exoskeleton (LBE). The LBE has a pelvic support structure and a first leg and a second leg. Each of the first and second legs are movably coupled to the pelvic support structure, wherein at least the first and second legs are selectively actuable to move the lower body exoskeleton relative to a surface on which the mobility aid is positioned. The LBE also includes a carrier selectively positionable with respect to the lower body exoskeleton and, which in use, supports the user at or about an amputation site; and a harness system configured to, when in use, secure the user to the lower body exoskeleton.
Treadmill with continuous pull force on user
The present invention relates to a novel treadmill with elastic band aided system to drive the tread belt. The elastic band aided system includes at least one of the foot attachment, hand attachment, and waist attachment. This elastic band aided system can be used in manual treadmills and motorized treadmills.
Gait motion assisting apparatus
A gait motion assisting apparatus of the present invention includes an actuator unit controlling driver so that assisting force calculated by applying gait motion timing based on detected thigh phase angle to output pattern saved data is imparted to lower leg, and a terminal device capable of wireless-communicating with control device of the actuator unit. The terminal device can receive assisting force setting value including assisting force imparting period during gait cycle and create, based on the assisting force setting value, output pattern setting data indicating a relationship between the gait motion timing and a size of assisting force to be imparted to the lower leg. The control device is configured to overwrite-save the output pattern setting data received from the terminal device as the output pattern saved data.
Medical device for treating carpal tunnel and De Quervain's syndromes
Devices and methods for treating carpal tunnel syndrome or DeQuervain's syndrome. The device may include a resting portion for receiving a user's forearm, first and second contact portions configured to contact the user's forearm, and a stretching mechanism configured to apply opposing forces to the first contact portion and the second contact portion to stretch the user's underlying tissue. The first contact portion may be configured to apply a compressive force to the user's forearm at a first location. The second contact portion may be configured to apply a compressive force to the user's forearm at a second location different than the first location.
LOWER LIMB EXOSKELETON
An apparatus for an active exoskeleton boot is provided. The apparatus can include a foot plate disposed within a boot of a user. The apparatus can include a first adapter extending from a side surface of the foot plate having a slot and an actuator module comprising a chassis and a post, and the post coupled to the chassis. The apparatus can include a second adapter extending from an end surface of the post. The slot of the first adapter can be configured to engage the second adapter when the actuator module is positioned at a first angle relative to the first adapter. The first adapter can be configured to lock with the second adapter when the actuator module rotates from the first angle to a second angle relative to the first adapter.

A walking state measurement system includes: an endless belt that defines a walking surface on which a subject walks and that travels along a walking front-rear direction; a marker provided on at least the walking surface along a circumferential direction of the belt; a first camera for taking an image of the subject from front, the first camera taking an image of the marker on the walking surface from above to generate a first image; a second camera for taking an image of the subject from front, the second camera taking an image of the marker on the walking surface from above to generate a second image; and a correction processing unit that corrects an image generated by at least either the first camera or the second camera based on a position of an image area of the marker included in each of the first image and the second image.
