An assistive pushcart device for rollerblading includes a set of first wheels and a set of second wheels that are rotationally coupled to a frame proximate to a front and a back of the frame, respectively. A handle that is coupled to and extends transversely from the back of the frame is configured to be grasped in one or two hands of a user to stabilize the user as the user locomotes the frame along a surface. Each of set of brakes is operationally coupled to a respective one of the first wheels and the second wheels. The set of brakes is positioned to selectively slow and stop rotation of at least one of the first wheels and the second wheels. An actuator that is coupled to the handle and operationally coupled to the set of brakes is positioned to selectively actuate the set of brakes.

MODULAR ROLLER KIT COMPRISING A WALKING AID KNEE ROLLER WHICH IS CONFIGURABLE FOR AT LEAST TWO MEDICAL APPLICATIONS, AND METHOD FOR CONFIGURING THE KNEE ROLLER AND USE

A wheeler kit includes a walking aid knee wheeler which supports a knee of a person having difficulty walking. The walking aid knee wheeler includes a chassis with a mounting interface and at least two wheel units which are pivotably mounted on the chassis in at least two axles. The wheeler kit further includes at least one module with a personal support which includes a knee support which is reversibly coupled in the mounting interface with the chassis, or at least one further module with a further personal support which includes a seat for at least one sitting position of the person. The at least one further module is reversibly coupled in the mounting interface with the chassis. The mounting interface is arranged further downward than a highest point of at least one of the at least two wheel units.

Cup holder assembly for a portable walking apparatus
11135125 · 2021-10-05 ·

A cup holder assembly for a portable and handheld walking apparatus and having a fastener assembly with an annular clasp having an upper edge, defining an annular recess operably configured to selectively increase and decrease in diameter over a portion of a tubular framing structure of a portable and handheld walking apparatus, and having at least one hinge member assembly directly and hingedly coupled to the annular clasp and operably configured to rotate and have a locked position along a rotation path with respect to the upper edge of the annular clasp. A cantilevered support rod is coupled to the at least one hinge member assembly and a cylindrical container member with a container fastener directly coupled thereto and a portion of the cantilevered support rod disposed and compressively retained thereon, the bottom wall and the sidewall defining a cylindrical container cavity.

DUAL RECEPTACLE CARRIER

Disclosed is a dual-receptacle carrier that is generally configured for attachment to a rollator or walker and that is configured to retain either a beverage or a mobile device, such as a cellular telephone. The device comprises a body, a base, and first and second opposing retention arm portions that are configured as a receptacle for a beverage. The first and second opposing retention arm portions and base include recesses that define a receptacle for an electronic device.

ADAPTED FITNESS EQUIPMENT

An exercise apparatus includes an adjustable frame being attachable to an assistive ambulation device. The adjustable frame includes removable handles, fitting arms located on a lower portion of the adjustable frame to receive a fitness attachment, and attachment points on located on the lower portion of the adjustable frame to couple a resistance device. A jump rope trainer includes a handle; flexible tubing including a handle fastener to connect the handle to the flexible tubing; and a soft sphere shaped object. The flexible tubing includes a soft sphere shaped object fastener to connect the soft sphere shaped object to the flexible tubing.

Devices and mobility assistance and infusion management

Provided are mobility assistance devices, particularly useful in medical settings where a patient ambulation is desired but the patient remains connected to one or many medical components. The system comprises a mast connected to a base, wherein the mast is angled with respect to the base and from which any number of medical components is supported. The device geometry and connections ensure the device is extremely stable and tip-resistant. Also provided are oxygen tank holders to reliably and conveniently hold oxygen tanks and power management systems that reliably provide electrical power without impacting device performance or mobility. The device is deployable to permit conversion between a compact storage configuration and a stable deployed configuration.

Ambulatory aid
11020308 · 2021-06-01 · ·

An ambulatory aid, such as a crutch, including a pair of support members connected by a load bearing handle member, and terminating at a first end with a top axilla-conforming member, and a second end with a foot piece. The crutch is used as a straight arm crutch, in which a user's weight is distributed in the hand to keep the arm straight, while preventing any load on the shoulder girdles. The crutches are configured to fit close to the body, to centralize the base of support, and keep the center of gravity lower, thereby keeping the body aligned as designed, and keeping the pectoral and pelvic girdles aligned. Proper body alignment during use results in greater stability and equilibrium of the user compared to traditional “tri-pod” creating crutches.

WALKING AID VEHICLE
20210155278 · 2021-05-27 ·

A walking aid vehicle (1) includes: an operation part (3) provided on an upper portion of a vehicle body for grasping by a user in a walking posture; a detector (30) for detecting an operation force applied to the operation part; and an inclination detector (20) for detecting inclination of the vehicle body. When an advance direction inclination detected by the detector is less than threshold, a normal control (100) generates a normal direction torque in the drive motor (40L, 40R) responsive to pushing the operation part (3) forward and generates a reverse direction torque in the drive motor responsive to pulling the operation part rearward, and when the advance direction inclination is equal to or greater than threshold and pushing operation force is detected, a shift to a pull control (110) is made which generates normal direction torque in the drive motor responsive to a pulling operation force.

Wheeled walker

A rollator including a frame having first and second side frames extending along respective ones of a pair of planes. First and second upper body supports are coupled to and disposable at an adjustable height above the frame. A pair of forearm gutters are coupled to respective ones of the first and second upper body supports for engaging and supporting a respective forearm of the user during use. Each forearm gutter includes a peripheral edge, a forward midpoint on the peripheral edge, and a rearward midpoint on the peripheral edge. Each forearm gutter defines a longitudinal axis bisecting the respective forearm gutter and passing through the forward midpoint and the rearward midpoint. The forward midpoint and the rearward midpoint on each forearm gutter fall between the pair of planes.
