An electric walking assisting vehicle configured such that in accordance with operating amounts acting on an operation part, driving of driving motors is controlled and includes an inclination detector which detects inclination of a vehicle body in a forward-backward direction, and on flat land where inclination is less than a threshold, with an operation origin of the operation part as a center, the driving motors are controlled to generate torque in a forward direction by operation of pushing the operation part forward and to generate torque in a backward direction by operation of pulling the operation part backward, on an uphill road on which the inclination is the threshold value or more, the operation origin is shifted to an pulling operation side, and on a downhill road on which the inclination is the threshold value or more, the operation origin is shifted to a pushing operation side.

Collapsible upright wheeled walker apparatus

A collapsible upright wheeled walker with adjustable armrests that support sufficient user upper-body weight to facilitate a natural upright gait and provide unassisted mobility for a wide range of mobility-impaired individuals. The apparatus may be easily and quickly folded (and unfolded) and may include bilateral stabilizing wheel suspensions to facilitate navigation over uneven terrain. The apparatus includes a frame-stiffening folder assembly and may also include mechanical brakes, an adjustable upper armrest assembly with removable padded forearm supports and two pairs of handles, at least one of which is disposed sufficiently forward to place the user within the polygonal footprint defined by the front and rear wheels to provide support without leaning, stooping, or risking falls.

Crutch with energy storage and energy return

Various features for improving the performance of crutches are provided. A crutch can flex at one or more locations or include composite material to provide energy storage and return to the user during ambulation. In some aspects, a crutch is provided that can propel the user forward during ambulation. The crutch can be hollow at one or more locations to allow for increased flexibility and narrower at one or more locations to enhance springiness of the crutch.

COLLAPSIBLE WHEELED WALKER WITH STABILITY ENHANCING BRACKET APPARATUS AND METHOD
