The present disclosure includes disclosure of a walker, comprising an upper bar defining a first upper bar end and a second upper bar end, a grip element defined within the upper bar or formed as part thereof, a relative rear end comprising a rear base portion and a rear base bar, a rear vertical bar coupled to the rear base bar and to the upper bar, a first side wheel structure having a first side wheel bar and one or more first side wheels or castors, and a second side wheel structure having a second side wheel bar and one or more second side wheels or castors; and a front wheel structure comprising one or more front wheels or castors.

ASSISTIVE MOBILITY DEVICE
20220395419 · 2022-12-15 ·

An assistive mobility device includes a connecting assembly disposed between two frames of a frame assembly, first wheels, second wheels, a positioning assembly disposed between the frames and the connecting assembly, and a stop assembly disposed on the frame assembly. By engaging at least one locking unit and at least one engagement unit of the positioning assembly together, support rods of the connecting assembly are stably unfolded for further use. When the locking unit leaves the engagement unit, the support rods can be folded up, and respective frame bodies of the frames pivotally connected to respective support bodies thereof can also be collapsed by lying down, thereby reducing the bulk of the folded mobility device. The stop assembly serves to prevent random rotations of the second wheels while folding and unfolding the mobility device. Therefore, the mobility device is more convenient and useful to use.

SMART WALKER

A smart walking assistance device with a walker frame having generally vertical sides and an intersecting front. Wheels located at both ends of a bottom edge of the sides. A soft robotic sensing handle extends in a C shape along the upper edges of the sides and front. The sensing handle has multiple contiguous air filled chambers, each containing a pressure sensor for producing a pressure signal representing the pressure within the chamber. A microcontroller unit receives the pressure signals from the pressure sensors of the handle chambers and determines the status of at least one of the device and a user of the device based on the pressure signals. A stabilization mechanism is driven by the microcontroller so as to stabilize the walker in response to the determined status of at least one of the walker and the user.
