A microreactor array platform and method for sealing a reagent in microreactors of an array of microreactors are provided. The microreactor array platform includes an array of microreactors, and a sealing film having a first surface and an opposite second surface, the sealing film configured to movably seal the array of microreactors. The microreactor array platform also includes an injector for delivering a reagent into the array of microreactors via a fluid path between the array and the second surface of the sealing film, and an applicator for directing a sealing liquid against the first surface of the sealing film. The microreactor array platform further includes a system for creating a pressure differential between the reagent in the injector and a space between the array of microreactors and the second surface of the sealing film.

Disclosed is a product dispenser, comprising a cap and a reservoir for a product, wherein the reservoir has a protrusion and a piston engaging mechanism, wherein the cap has the followings: a pipette having an upper end orifice and a lower end orifice; a piston configured to move so as to create a suction to draw the product through the lower end orifice of the pipette of the product dispenser; a housing for the piston configured for the piston to slide between a high position and low position in the housing; a corresponding engaging mechanism configured to engage with the piston engaging mechanism of the reservoir, and also configured to move together with the piston; a button configured to dispense the product through the end orifice of the pipette, when the button is actuated; a chamber configured to change its volume depending on the movement of the piston and the movement of the button, wherein when the cap is capped on the reservoir in a direction of closing the product dispenser, the piston is moved by the protrusion, relatively to the housing to the high position in the housing, and the volume of the chamber decreases, wherein when the cap is uncapped on the reservoir in a direction of opening the product dispenser, the piston is moved relatively to the housing to a low position in the housing by the engagement of the piston engaging mechanism and the corresponding engagement mechanism, and the volume of the chamber increases, wherein this opening of the cap produces a suction of the product in the pipette, wherein when the button is actuated, the volume of the chamber decreases by which the product is dispensed from the pipette.

The assembly includes a child-resistant adult-friendly retaining portion to permit the removal of the cap and collar. The syringe is configured to draw liquid from the bottle at a precise dosage and then when the cap and collar is removed the user can expel the liquid.

CELL CONCENTRATION DEVICES AND METHODS THAT INCLUDE AN INSERT DEFINING A LUMEN AND A CANNULA ASSEMBLY

A system and associated method for concentrating and separating components of different densities from fluid containing cells using a centrifuge includes a container defining a cavity for receiving the fluid. The container has a top, a sidewall extending from the top, and a bottom disposed opposite the top and in sealing engagement with the sidewall. An insert is slidably disposed in the cavity of the container and defines a lumen through the insert. The lumen, which includes a hole and a funnel-shaped upper portion in fluid communication with the hole, forms an open fluid path between opposite ends of the insert. The insert has a density such that upon centrifugation a selected component of the fluid resides within the lumen. A container port is disposed in the top of the container to transfer the fluid into the container and to withdraw a fluid component other than the selected component from the container. The system includes a manifold that includes a manifold port, a vent to vent the container, and a connector to couple to the container port. A cannula is receivable in the manifold port and extendable through the container port into the container and into the lumen of the insert to withdraw the selected component from the lumen.

An adjustable volume sampling system is disclosed for aseptically retrieving a sample volume of a fluid from an origination container. The system includes a sampling container. A cap is removably attached to the sampling container so as to close off the open top. The cap includes two ports. A first tube is attached to one of the ports. An elongated diptube extends through port into the sampling container and an upper end of the diptube is located inside a portion of the first tube. The diptube can be raised and lowered relative to the sampling container by pinching an stretching the first tube. Syringes are provided for expelling excess material from the sampling container.

This invention relates to a packaging and distribution assembly (10) for a fluid product, of the type comprising: a storage member (22), comprising a tubular reservoir (40) able to receive a first fluid composition; a closed chamber (130) in communication with the tubular reservoir; and a pressurization member (24), able to move axially in such a way as to decrease a volume of said closed chamber. The closed chamber is sealed from the air in a deployed configuration of the storage and pressurization members, corresponding to a maximum volume of the closed chamber.

The storage member (22) and the pressurization member (24) comprise means (76) for breaking the seal of the closed chamber in a compact configuration of said storage and pressurization members, said compact configuration corresponding to a minimum volume of the closed chamber.
