Pipette tip system
A pipetter is disclosed that has a suction lumen with an opening and an ejection bar that slides relative to the suction lumen. The pipette tip has a distal end opening and a proximal end with a rim. The pipette tip has a pipette wall with a low-force stretch region with a plurality of thinning channels. The system comprises at least three configurations: an insertion configuration, wherein (1) the suction lumen is inserted into the proximal opening, and (2) the ejection bar does not abut the rim; a sealed/installed configuration, wherein (1) the suction lumen forms a liquid-tight seal between the suction lumen and the pipette wall, and (2) the ejection bar abuts the rim, preventing further insertion of the suction lumen (95); and an ejection configuration, wherein (1) the ejection bar is slid towards the rim, and (2) the ejection bar dislodges the pipette tip from the suction lumen.
DISPENSING DEVICE AND DETACHMENT PLATE
A plurality of syringes are aligned in a first direction that intersects with a vertical direction while being directed downwardly. A detachment frame has a plate shape in which a through hole into which the plurality of syringes are inserted and is provided to be liftable and lowerable relative to the plurality of syringes. The detachment frame has a first region located at a position lower than a predetermined height threshold value defined with respect to the detachment frame and a second region located at a position higher than the height threshold value in a lower surface, and the first region and second region are arranged alternately in the first direction. In a tip attachment region, a tip is attached to the lower end portion of each of the plurality of syringes that project farther downwardly than the detachment frame through the through hole.

Pipette Tip System
A pipette tip system for use with a plurality of pipette tips is disclosed that includes a support card connected to a base, wherein the base comprises an interlocking structure constructed to mate with an adjacent base. This unique base can be used with the several embodiments disclosed herein.
Pipette Tip System
A pipette tip system for use with a plurality of pipette tips is disclosed that includes a support card and a support card lid. The support card includes an array of pipette tip receiver openings arranged in a N×M array, wherein the N is less than M. The support card further has a short-side card rail edge on an edge of the support card along the N side of the array, and a long-side card rail edge on an edge of the support card along the M side of the array. The support card lid includes a long-side lid rail edge extending from a support card first surface, which is adapted to slidably mate with the long-side card rail edge, and a short-side lid rail edge extending from a support card second surface, which is adapted to slidably mate with the short-side card rail edge.
System and apparatus for driving antenna
A multiple-antenna positioning system with a single drive element, providing reduced weight and complexity over systems that have a drive element for each antenna. In certain examples, each antenna can be coupled with a rotating spindle, with each antenna spindle being coupled with a pair of link arms. By driving a single drive spindle, each of the antenna spindles in the system can be rotated by the associated pair of link arms. The link arms can have an adjustable length, such as through a turnbuckle mechanism, to reduce backlash in the system, and in some examples can apply a preload to the system. By reducing backlash, the multiple antenna positioning system can have improved responsiveness to a rotation of the single drive element, as well as improved stability of the positioning of each antenna when the drive element is held in a fixed position.
System and method for improved liquid handling
A liquid handling system and method includes a liquid handling device with a plurality of pipetting heads and a tip box having a plurality of tips for removable attachment to the pipetting heads. A lever mechanism engages the liquid handling device and tip box during insertion of the pipetting heads into the tips to lesser the required insertion force.
ELECTRONIC PIPETTE
An electronic pipette comprising a piston actuated in a cylinder by a motor, a control system for carrying out pipette operations, and a user interface for operating the pipette, wherein the user interface comprises at least one touch screen for operating the pipetting operations of the pipette, which touch screen comprises at least one touching or pressing area for operating the pipetting operations of the pipette. The invention also relates to a method for operating an electronic pipette and a use of a touch screen as a part of a user interface of an electronic pipette for operating the pipetting operations of the pipette.
PIPETTE ACCESSORY FOR RELIABLE LIQUID HANDLING
An apparatus for limiting pipette motion, the apparatus comprising: (1) a stand for controlling spatial positions; (2) a mechanism for temporally coupling the pipette with the stand; the orientation or the movement of the pipette being restricted by the stand as predetermined for (a) limiting the insertion depth of the pipette tips into sample containers, (b) restricting unwanted movements or rotations of the pipette, or (c) maintaining the desired alignments of the pipette tips with the sample containers. Methods of limiting pipette motion or rotation are also provided.
