METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR HAIR GROWTH/HAIR RESTORATION TREATMENT
A treatment method for promoting hair growth/hair restoration includes pinching a part of skin where hair growth/hair restoration is to be promoted and jetting a pressure fluid to the part from a periphery thereof to raise the part to burn fat under a skin layer in and near the part to which the pressure fluid is jetted to improve blood circulation to perform a treatment for promoting hair growth/hair restoration.
MULTI-FUNCTIONAL SHOWER HEAD ATTACHMENT DEVICE WITH SUCTION AND PRESSURE CAPABILITY
A multi-functional shower head attachment device with suction and pressure capabilities enables users to induce a pressurized flow of liquid, or suction with handheld device selectively removably couplable to a conventional shower head. The device includes a housing containing a fluid transport network that is selectively manipulated along a valve translation path to selectively induce a negative pressure vacuum, and a pressurized discharge of fluid. The vacuum is generated as the pressurized fluid is diverted through a configuration of conduits, past a venturi channel and through a secondary exit port; thereby creating the vacuum through adjacent, fluidly coupled conduits. The pressurized fluid discharge is generated as the incoming pressurized fluid is diverted directly through a series of conduits to an exit port. The housing is coupled to a handheld suction and pressure housing assembly through which the user washes, removes acne/oils, etc., with both suction and pressurized fluid discharge.
HANDHELD DEVICE FOR PROVIDING FLUIDIC MASSAGE
A handheld device for providing fluidic massage comprises a storage container adapted to store a fluid, one or more fluidic channels extending into the storage container, the one or more fluidic channels including one or more respective first ends and one or more respective second ends, wherein the one or more first ends are within the storage container, one or more pumps in fluidic communication with the storage container through the one or more fluidic channels, one or more nozzles provided at the one or more second ends of the fluidic channels, and a bladder encapsulating the one or more nozzles, wherein the bladder is adapted to be in contact with a user at an outer surface of the bladder, and receive fluid flow from the one or more nozzles, at an inner surface of the bladder.
AIR MIXING NOZZLE TIP STRUCTURE
Proposed is an air mixing nozzle tip structure which improves productivity while simplifying the structure by being configured so that air is introduced through an air mixing inlet and discharged together with wash water, improves cleaning power while realizing a massage effect because fine water droplets are formed in the process that wash water and air are combined and discharged, controls the inlet amount of air by forming the air mixing inlet on one side or each of opposite sides of a nozzle tip cover or by adjusting the cross-sectional size of the air mixing inlet, and promotes product stability by providing an air supply passage at the rear of the air mixing inlet so that the air introduced through the air mixing inlet is smoothly discharged to a wash water ejection hole through an air guide.
WEARABLE HEALTH MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
A wearable health management system includes a flexible member configured to be worn on an affected area by a patient. At least one actuator is operably coupled to the flexible member. The at least one actuator is configured to be adjusted between a deployed state and a non-deployed state. At least one of a photoplethysmogram sensor and a bioimpedance sensor is coupled to the flexible member to obtain one or more health metrics from the patient. A controller is in communication with the at least one actuator. The controller is configured to adjust the at least one actuator to the deployed state to provide a selected pressure to the affected area.
ACOUSTIC SHOCK WAVE OR PRESSURE PULSE TREATMENT AND METHODS OF USE FOR ANTI-AGING
A method of treating a reflexology zone to reduce aging using pressure pulses or shock waves has the steps of: placing an applicator head of an acoustic shock wave or pressure pulse generator or source at a reflexology zone; coupling the applicator head directly or indirectly to an exposed surface of the skin near the reflexology zone; and activating the generator or source to emit pressure pulses or acoustic shock waves through the skin to the reflexology zone to reduce, reverse or stop cell senescence or aging and apoptosis.
Water jet massaging apparatus with patient support sheet and support element
In a water jet massaging apparatus having a tub which is covered by a flexible elastic support sheet or foil for supporting a patient and a nozzle carriage with a nozzle and carriage drive arrangement disposed in the tub below the support sheet or foil for directing a water jet onto the support sheet, a rigid or at least non-elastic support element is disposed between the flexible elastic support sheet or foil and the nozzle carriage at a distance from the flexible elastic support sheet or foil so as to prevent the flexible elastic support sheet to come into contact with the nozzle carriage and the carriage drive arrangement.
Appendage massaging devices comprising artificial muscles
An appendage massaging device that includes an appendage wrap having an inner band and an outer layer and one or more artificial muscles disposed between the inner band and the outer layer of the appendage wrap. Each of the one or more artificial muscles include a housing having an electrode region and an expandable fluid region, a dielectric fluid housed within the housing, and an electrode pair positioned in the electrode region of the housing. The electrode pair includes a first electrode fixed to a first surface of the housing and a second electrode fixed to a second surface of the housing. The electrode pair is actuatable between a non-actuated and an actuated state such that actuation from the non-actuated state to the actuated state directs the dielectric fluid into the expandable fluid region, expanding the expandable fluid region thereby applying pressure to the inner band of the appendage wrap.
DEVICE FOR CARRYING OUT A RELAXATION SHIRODHARA TREATMENT
A device for carrying out a relaxation treatment on the forehead of a person by producing a continuous liquid stream the device including an outlet nozzle for forming the liquid stream; a liquid reservoir; a sliding unit for reciprocating movement of the outlet nozzle in a lateral direction; at least one circulation pump; a pipe system connecting the outlet nozzle and/or the liquid reservoir with the circulation pump; and a housing. In order to simplify the use of the device, which is readily transportable and can be used without special knowledge of the treatment, it is provided that the housing has a base housing element and a top housing element wherein the top housing element is pivotally connected to the base housing element so that the device can be brought from a collapsed transporting state to an opened operating state.
Nozzle carrier drive arrangement for a water jet massaging apparatus
In a nozzle carrier drive for water let massaging apparatus a nozzle carriage which is movable along a guide track in the longitudinal direction of a tub of the water massaging apparatus and on which a nozzle for emitting a massaging water jet is disposed, a nozzle carriage drive arrangement is provided for independently moving the massaging water jet in the longitudinal and transverse directions of the tub by drive motors which are arranged outside the tub.
