Solution jetting device and method of controlling jet of solution
A solution jetting device includes: a cylindrical member; a movable member that is movably fitted to a hollow portion of the cylindrical member; a first drive mechanism that moves the movable member; a first flow passage that connects a solution container, in which a solution containing a biological sample or containing a reagent to be reacted with a biological sample is contained, to the hollow portion; an openable and closable first on-off valve that is provided on the first flow passage; a jetting tool that jets the solution to an objective region; a second flow passage that connects the hollow portion to the jetting tool; an openable and closable second on-off valve that is provided on the second flow passage; a second drive mechanism as defined herein; and a control unit as defined herein.
Double bottom test tube kit and method therefore
A double bottom test tube has a first tubular section having an open end and a rounded closed end. A second tubular section has an open end and a rounded closed end. The open end of the first tubular section is couplable to the open end of the second tubular section.
Configurable Device Arrangement for Performing At Least One Unit Operation in a Biopharmaceutical Process
A configurable device arrangement for performing at least one unit operation in a biopharmaceutical process includes a base rack and a plurality of holders for releasable direct or indirect attachment of process components, in particular single-use process components, for the unit operation. The holders are in turn adapted to be releasably attached directly or indirectly to the base rack. The device arrangement further includes a positioning system which defines specific positions for the holders relative to the base rack.
Cap rack
A rack to be suspended from a support structure includes a hook portion, an upright portion, and a shelf. The hook portion defines a cavity configured to receive an upper edge of a wall of the support structure therein. The upright wall is connected to and extends from the hook portion. The shelf is connected to the upright wall at a location spaced apart from the hook portion along a height of the upright wall. The shelf projects outward from the upright wall to a distal edge of the shelf that is spaced apart from the upright wall. The shelf defines a plurality of slots through the thickness of the shelf. The slots are open along the distal edge and are configured to accommodate one or more of multiple reclosable container caps or multiple tubes connected to the reclosable container caps.
SEQUENCING SYSTEM WITH PREHEATING
Provided herein, inter alia, are nucleic acid sequencing devices with one or more integrated heating elements to enable thermal control of fluidic solutions.
REAGENT CONTAINER
A reagent container is disclosed that is installed in an analyzer for use and stores a reagent supplied to the analyzer via an aspiration tube. The reagent container includes a container body. The container body includes a tubular member with an opening into which the aspiration tube is inserted from above, and a bag-shaped member joined to the tubular member and storing the reagent. The container body comprises a penetration prevention member that prevents a tip of the aspiration tube 90 inserted through the opening from penetrating the container body.
Glass/resin composite structure and method for manufacturing same
A composite structure with high pressure resistance that is suitable for a flow channel is produced by reducing the number of components while maintaining the excellent chemical resistance and high stress tolerance inherent to a glass substrate and a resin substrate. A glass substrate surface is modified with a hydrolyzable silicon compound, and the glass substrate is brought into contact with the resin substrate. Subsequently, the contact surface between the glass substrate and the resin substrate is heated to a temperature from the glass transition temperature to the pyrolysis temperature of the resin substrate, eliminating gaps between the glass substrate and the resin substrate to bring them into close contact with each other, and causing chemical binding or anchor effects between the glass substrate and the resin substrate via the hydrolyzable silicon compound. Thus, the glass substrate and the resin substrate are firmly fixed to each other.
HOSE CONNECTOR
A hose connection for tubes of automated analyser systems transferring mediums like liquid fluids. The invention provides A connector for a hose transferring a medium, consisting of an inner part, wherein the inner part comprises at a first end a first section comprising an opening for accommodating a hose and a second section comprising a duct arranged between an inner base of the opening for the hose and a second end of the inner part that is opposite of the first end, wherein the first section has a greater outer diameter than the second section; and an outer part, wherein the outer part comprises a thread surrounding the second section and a grip surrounding the first section, wherein the outer part is fixed rotational movable around the inner part between a flange at the inner part's second end the first section with the greater outer diameter
RESIN-TUBE END FORMATION METHOD AND FORMATION TOOL
A resin tube is prepared. Further, a formation tool having a pressing surface and a projection that projects from the pressing surface and is insertable into the resin tube is prepared. The projection of the formation tool is inserted from an end of the resin tube into the resin tube. The pressing surface of the formation tool is pressed against an end surface of the resin tube. Thermal energy is applied to the end of the resin tube, whereby a shape of the pressing surface of the formation tool is transferred to the end surface of the resin tube, and the end of the resin tube is formed into a flange shape.
Analysis method, discoid sample holder and use of a sample holder
The invention relates to a discoid sample holder (1), on which a device (2) for carrying out at least one processing step is formed. According to the invention, a slot (3), into which a sampling instrument (4) can be introduced, and means (5) for releasing a sample from the sampling instrument (4) arranged in the receptacle (3), are formed in the sample holder.
