Microfluidic connection and a connecting interface for fluidically interconnecting microfluidic channels
There is provided a connecting interface for fluidically interconnecting microfluidic channels. The connecting interface comprises one or more substrates which collectively define a first microfluidic channel which includes a connecting region for fluidically connecting the first microfluidic channel to a second microfluidic channel. The connecting interface further comprises at least one slit in an outer surface of one of the one or more substrates, wherein the at least one slit provides a fluid passage from the outer surface to the connecting region of the first microfluidic channel, and the at least one slit has at least one dimension extending beyond the connecting region along a direction parallel to the outer surface.
MICROFLUIDIC CONNECTOR GROUP, MICROFLUIDIC DEVICE AND MANUFACTURING PROCESS THEREOF, IN PARTICULAR FOR A CARTRIDGE FOR SAMPLE PREPARATION AND MOLECULE ANALYSIS
A microfluidic group includes a female connector and a male needle connector. The female connector has a connector chamber in a containment body; a duct extending in the containment body to a duct opening on a first face of the connector chamber; a needle entry hole extending from a lateral face of the containment body to a second face, not facing the first face of the connector chamber; and a gasket arranged in the connector chamber. The gasket has a side wall internally delimiting a cavity and extending in part adjacent to the second face of the connector chamber. The cavity of the gasket faces the first face of the connector chamber.

MODIFIED LUER FITTINGS AND IMPROVED SOLID PHASE EXTRACTION SYSTEM
A Luer lock includes a tapered female member and a tapered male member defining a passage. A tubing is inserted through the passage. The tubing defines an outer cross-section corresponding to an inner cross-section of the passage. The tapered male member is configured to be inserted into the tapered female member such that the tube is in fluid communication with the tapered female member, and the tubing exerts a compressive force at a mating surface between the tapered male member and the tapered female member to increase friction therebetween and inhibit leakage. The male member may define a side port defined on a side wall thereof. The side port may provide an additional fluid pathway for application of vacuum or pressure through the tapered male member.
Sterile connector
The invention is directed to an connector comprising a first part and a second part, each provided with a contact surface and at least one non-contact surface facing away from the contact surface, at least one opening in the contact surface having an fluid connection to at least one opening of the non-contact surface, a releasable covering of the opening in the contact surface, and complementary means for mechanically coupling the parts at the contact surfaces to form the connector. The complementary means for mechanically coupling the parts are configured to mechanically interlock with each other.
Fluid distribution system
There is disclosed a fluid distribution system for distributing fluid from a single source to a plurality of downstream receptacles. The system has a distribution manifold with a single inlet and a plurality of outlets arrayed around a circumferential outer periphery. The outlets may be directed to the different receptacles which each have their own vent filter, or each receptacle connects back to the distribution manifold for common venting.
FLUID DELIVERY CONSUMABLE FOR DELIVERING A FLUID TO A BIOREACTOR
The present disclosure provides a fluid delivery consumable for delivering a fluid dose to a bioreactor. The fluid delivery consumable comprising a vial for holding the fluid dose, the vial having an outlet and an open end opposite to the outlet, a plunger engaged with the open end and operable to urge the fluid dose toward the outlet, and a connector proximal to the outlet, the connector being attachable to the bioreactor and adapted to move the fluid dose from the vial to the bioreactor based on operation of the plunger.
WELL PLATE AND PETRI DISH FLUID EXCHANGE PLUG
The present invention provides fluidic (both air and liquid) exchange systems configured to retrofit standard cell/tissue culture well plates (6, 12, 24, 48, 96, 384, 1536 wells, and the like) and petri dishes by plugging into the openings of each well or dish.

Systems and Methods for Aseptic Sampling
A product and method for sampling cells from a bioreactor, for the purposes of determine the cell count or to remove a sample and retain sterility of the sample for quality control (OC) assessment. More specifically, a product and a method for sampling of cells during a cell expansion in a bioreactor using vacuum tubes.
