DEVICE FOR NEURO-ORTHOPEDIC REHABILITATION
The invention relates to the field of medicine, specifically to neurology, and more specifically to devices for therapeutic gymnastics. A device consists of a combination of a loading system and an unloading system. Covers/pockets for pneumatic chambers of the unloading system are positioned longitudinally, in pairs and continuously, along a front surface and a rear surface of a load-bearing membrane. Support elements of a knee brace, made of two front portions and of two rear portions, interconnected by means of straps, are positioned in five sub-levels, wherein the two front portions of the brace are connected at the centers thereof by means of a linking component which is provided with an additional cushioning layer and with a half-ring in the center thereof, said half-ring serving for securing and changing the trajectories of elastic tensile components. A foot brace is removable and contains one longitudinal strap under the foot and three transverse straps which are connected to the longitudinal strap.
FACIAL LIGAMENT/FACIAL FASCIA RELEASE DEVICE
Provided is a device useful for facial beauty treatment by efficiently releasing ligaments, SMAS fascia, and the like, and having a compact structure with multiple functions and an ease for a user to use at home.
The present invention provides a device (1) that has a massage function by rolling of a roller (3), a suction function by a suction portion (4), and a stimulation function by outputting a stimulation signal by a conductive element (34) fixed to a bottom surface (23) or a roller (3), and can efficiently and reliably implement an effect such as releasing the ligaments such as a facial skin of a user. In addition, since a circumferential protrusion (61) is formed on the peripheral edge of an opening portion (24) for performing suction so as to surround the opening portion (24), it is possible to enhance confidentiality during suction by the suction portion (4), and the effect described above can be efficiently exhibited. And the device (1) has multiple functions and a compact structure, which is easy for the user to use even at home.
AIR PUMP SYSTEM FOR MASSAGER
An air pump system includes a pump, a main valve device, and a distribution valve device connected between the pump and the main valve device, that includes a first portion forming a first chamber and a second portion forming a second chamber. The first portion includes a first free port to fluidly couple the first chamber with the pump, a first connection port to fluidly couple the first chamber with the main valve device, a second connection port to fluidly couple the first chamber with an outside of the distribution valve device, and a first valve switch. The second portion includes a second free port to fluidly couple the second chamber with the pump, a third connection port to fluidly couple the second chamber with the main valve device, a fourth connection port to fluidly couple the second chamber with the outside, and a second valve switch.
System for Adjusting Pressure Locally on the Skin and Subcutaneous Tissue
The invention relates to a system for adjusting pressure locally acting on the skin. Said system includes a set of adjacent modules distributed so as to form a layer. Each module includes a cushion capable of changing shape and comprising a cavity, a valve, a tank, and a pressure sensor, wherein the cavity and the tank are in communication with each other by means of the valve, and the sensor is placed so as to sense pressure directly or indirectly acting on the cushion. The system also includes a feedback loop arranged such as to increase or decrease the change in the shape of the cushion on the basis of the pressure detected by the sensor. The system according to the invention can be built into a shoe so as to re-establish normal plantar pressure under the entire sole of the foot, which is particularly desirable for athletes or for patients suffering from diabetes mellitus or leprosy. It is also possible to incorporate the system according to the invention into a (bed or wheelchair) mattress so as to prevent decubitus ulcers in patients with neurological diseases (hemiplegia, paraplegia, tetraplegia, multiple sclerosis, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) and any other sensory and/or motor deficit diseases.
EAR PUMPS
A manual ear pump including one or more of a support element configured to releasably engage an external ear canal and having an interior chamber, a resilient element capable of being resiliently deformed coupled to a support element, and an aperture disposed on a support element bottom surface communicating with the external ear canal and interior chamber.
Compression wave massage device
A compression wave massage device for body parts is described, particularly for erogenous zones such as the clitoris, including a pressure field generation device and a drive device. The pressure field generation device has a cavity with a first end and a second end, located opposite the first end and distanced from the first end, with the first end being provided with at least one opening for placement on a body part. The drive device causes a change of the volume of the cavity between a minimal volume and a maximal volume such that in at least one opening a stimulating pressure field is generated. The cavity is formed by a single chamber, and the ratio of the volume change to the minimal volume is not below 1/10, preferably not below 1/8.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING A MASSAGE APPARATUS
A system and/or massage apparatus to obtain massage data from the massage apparatus (such as a massage chair) for control of a virtual representation of the massage apparatus in a simulated environment is developed. The system and/or massage apparatus is especially suited for a simulated and/or interactive environment such as virtual reality/augmented reality environment. The actual motion(s) of one or more physical massage mechanisms of the massage apparatus is obtained in the form of data signal(s), processed, rendered and displayed in the simulated and/or interactive environment as three-dimensional content. A user interface in the simulated or interactive environment may be used in a real-time or near real-time basis to provide a seamless experience to a user.
Apparatus for carrying out treatments on the human body
Apparatus for carrying out treatments on the human body, which includes a central unit provided with a compressor and two operational heads, each provided with a plate intended to contact the skin of the patient to be treated, and susceptible of being temperature-conditioned with a corresponding hot or cold fluid. Moreover, each operational head is provided with a plurality of pneumatic actuators, which are operable to move, in a retracted position and in a protruding position, by corresponding solenoid valves which are housed in the operational head, and are connected to the compressor (9) and to the corresponding pneumatic actuators.
Low pressure suction treatment incorporating measurement of tissue characteristics
Method for assessing and preferably ameliorating the symptoms of a medical condition, optionally lymphedema, comprising obtaining a preferably both electrically powered and portable treatment apparatus capable of contacting, via a treatment head, a target area on the skin of a patient and introducing low-pressure suction thereto, wherein the apparatus, preferably the treatment head thereof, contains at least one sensor element to measure at least one physiological characteristic regarding the tissue underlying the target area of the patient, preferably indicative of fluid content thereof, and applying the treatment apparatus to the patient to measure said at least one physiological characteristic.
