Pressurizing device
10576015 · 2020-03-03 ·

A pressurizing device includes a main body and a pressurizing mechanism having a controlling assembly and a pressing assembly arranged on the controlling assembly and movable relative to the main body. The controlling assembly has a base body arranged on the main body and a controlling member having a pivot portion and a driving portion, the pivot portion is pivoted to the base body so that the controlling member is swingable between pressurizing and releasing positions, and the pressing assembly has a controlled portion comovable with the driving portion and a pressurizing portion for pressing an object. When the controlling member swings toward the pressurizing position, the driving portion drives the controlled portion to make the pressurizing portion press the object; when the controlling member swings toward the releasing position, the driving portion drives the controlled portion to depressurize the object.

CPR gurney
10568805 · 2020-02-25 · ·

A mechanical chest compression device is secured to a gurney, transport stretcher or ambulance cot while engaging a patient's thorax to provide mechanical CPR during transport. The mechanical chest compression device compresses the patient's thorax against the gurney deck. The mechanical chest compression device may engage the side rails on the gurney, the gurney deck or any suitable structural elements of the gurney.

Intelligent compression wrap

An intelligent compression device for controllable compression. The compression device includes a compressible body and a microprocessor. The compressible body encircles a limb of a user and includes an elastomer layer and an activation layer. The elastomer layer includes voxelated liquid crystal elastomers that contract in response to a stimulus. The activation element, which is positioned proximate to the elastomer layer, supplies the stimulus. The microprocessor actuates at least a portion of the activation element layer.

COMPRESSION GARMENT APPARATUS
20200000676 · 2020-01-02 ·

A compression garment apparatus for a body part of an human and/or animal having a flexible backing, attaching means, a segmented flex frame, and a shape memory alloy on the segmented flex frame. The shape memory alloy can be connected to two terminals on the frame forming a circuit. A controller can be connected to the terminals applying current to the shape memory alloy at defined intervals providing intermittent, sequenced, or continuous compression therapy.

COMPRESSION GARMENT

In an embodiment, a compression garment can include one or more of a flex frame, a shape memory material, a backing, and a control module. In some variations, the flex frame can include a set of support regions, a set of cutout regions, a set of bridges, one or more terminals, and one or more rotation points. In some variations, the compression garment 100 can further include a fabric sleeve, one or more fasteners, a power module, and/or any other suitable component. The compression garment functions as a compression device (e.g., to improve circulation, enhance muscle recovery, etc.), and can additionally or alternatively function as a passive compression device, a heating and/or cooling device, or perform any other suitable functionality.

A wearable lumbo-pelvic active balancing device and methods of use

ADAPTIVE COMPRESSION THERAPY SYSTEMS AND METHODS

Systems, devices and methods for providing active and/or passive compression therapy to a body part can include a compression device worn over a compression stocking. The compression device can have a pulley based drive train that is driven by a motor to tighten and loosen compression elements, such as compression straps, in a precise, rapid, and balanced manner. Sensors can be used in the compression device and/or compression stockings to provide feedback to modulate the compression treatment parameters.

Swivelable massage device
10485726 · 2019-11-26 ·

A massage device includes a massage roller that extends lengthwise along an axis from a first end to a second end, opposite said first end, a grip extending from the first end, and a flexible sling extending from the second end and swivelably mounted to the second end. The sling includes an elbow harness for receiving a user's elbow. The massage roller may be urged and rolled against the first side of a user's body by holding the grip and applying a force on the elbow harness with the elbow on the opposite side of the user's body, while the massage roller is allowed to rotate about the axis without twisting the sling.
