Systems and methods for automated nucleic acid extraction
Systems and methods of the present disclosure enable automated nucleic acid extraction using components including a rotating platform and a magnetic extractor. A controller controls the components to identify a program associated with a well plate kit based on a well plate kit indicator, where each well plate in the well plate kit is associated with a step for extracting nucleic acid from a sample, and each well plate is loaded with a particular substance for processing each step. Positions on the rotating platform associated with each well plate in the well plate kit are determined. Using the positions and the program, the controller performs each step by determining a particular position for particular well plate of a particular step, controlling the rotating platform to position the particular well plate under the magnetic extractor, and controlling magnetic rods of the magnetic extractor according to the program.
Multiplex bead array assay
The present disclosure relates to a system, method, and kit for particle detection and analysis. Devices disclosed herein may include at least an optical source, a fluidic chip containing a multiplex bead array, and a detection module, wherein the sample flows within the fluidic chip past a detection window, where the cells or particles are imaged by an image acquisition and analysis module that may include an optical detector. The image acquisition and analysis module counts the labeled particles and software allows for analysis of bead population.
TAMPER-RESISTANT CHEMICAL SAMPLING
Methods, systems, and apparatuses are disclosed for a tamper-resistant collection and retention a chemical sample. In one embodiment, the tamper-resistant system comprises a container operable to collect and retain a chemical sample, a tamper-resistant mechanism operable to disengage at a first chemical sample to allow for a collection of a chemical sample, wherein the tamper-resistant mechanism is operable to record one or more of: a date, a time, and a location, of the chemical sample during the collection of the chemical sample, and wherein the tamper-resistant mechanism is further operable to re-engage and lock after the collection of the chemical sample to resist subsequent chemical samples after the first chemical sampling.
CARTRIDGES, KITS, AND METHODS FOR AMPLIFICATION AND DETECTION OF ANALYTES
Devices, systems, and methods for detecting molecules of interest within a collected sample are described herein. In certain embodiments, self-contained sample analysis systems are disclosed, which include a reusable reader component, a disposable cartridge component, and a disposable sample collection component. The reader component may communicate with a remote computing device for the digital transmission of test protocols and test results. In various disclosed embodiments, the systems, components, and methods are configured to identify the presence, absence, and/or quantity of particular nucleic acids, proteins, or other analytes of interest, for example, in order to test for the presence of one or more pathogens or contaminants in a sample.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CHECKING NORMAL MOUNTING OF SLIDE TRAY
A slide tray slot is provided. The slide tray slot includes a slot body; a light source generator provided on one inner surface of the slot body; a light source detection sensor capable of detecting a light source emitted from the light source generator; and a plurality of slide tray compartment parts arranged in a vertical stack between the light source generator and the light source detection sensor. The light source generator emits the light source in the direction of the vertical stack in which the plurality of slide tray compartment parts are arranged.
Devices, methods, and kits for preparing a cell suspension
In some embodiments, a kit for preparing a cell suspension may include a device and a housing. The device may include a first label identifying a first reservoir of the device for use with a first portion of a tissue processing method and a second label identifying a second reservoir of the device for use with a second portion of the tissue processing method. The housing includes a first housing portion configured to store a first set of components associated with the first portion of the tissue processing method. The first housing portion includes a first visual indicator associated with the first label of the device. The second housing portion may be configured to store a second set of components associated with the second portion of the tissue processing method. The second housing portion may include a second visual indicator associated with the second label of the device.
AUXILIARY TEST PAPER DETECTION DEVICE
An auxiliary test paper detection device includes a reagent cap and a test paper cassette. The reagent cap contains a detection reagent, a sealing member is arranged at an opening of the reagent cap. The sealing member can be opened or removed under action of external force. Test paper is arranged in the test paper cassette, a sample absorption section of the test paper is exposed, an observation window is formed in the test paper cassette. A result display area of the test paper corresponds to the observation window. A connecting structure for connecting the test paper cassette and the reagent cap is provided, and when the test paper cassette and the reagent cap are connected through the connecting structure, a closed space is formed in an inner cavity of the reagent cap. The sample absorption section of the test paper extends into the inner cavity of the reagent cap.
BLOOD TESTING APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
A blood testing apparatus includes an analyzer configured to analyze blood components of an animal that are included in a test medium; an output device configured to display analysis results of the blood components; and a controller configured to determine a species of the animal based on at least one from among types of the blood components and the analysis results of the blood components and control the output device to display the determined species of the animal.
Diagnostics systems and methods
