DEVICE FOR MASSAGING MUSCLES IN AN ORAL CAVITY
The invention relates to a device (1) for massaging muscles in the oral cavity comprising a body (3) with drive means (5) and a power unit (7), an extending element (9) detachably coupled to the body (3), and two massage units (11) coupled to an end portion (13) of the extending element (9), wherein the massage units (11) operate with an alternately rotating movement, which rotates about a rotational axis (15) essentially perpendicular to the end portion (13). The invention further relates to a method for massaging muscles in the oral cavity such a device (1), wherein the massage units (11) massage the muscles in the oral cavity with an alternately rotating movement. Even further, the method may be used for reducing or eliminating snoring by massaging muscles in the oral cavity using such a device (1).
Cylindrical core exercise and massage roller
A roller which an individual may use to perform a variety of self-applied exercises for massage, myofascial release and other exercises. The roller is cylindrical having a resilient outer surface on which are a plurality of axially spaced, circumferentially extending bands of similar projections which manipulate the body of the individual when the individual rolls against the surface of the roller. The projections are equally circumferentially spaced in each band extending around the cylindrical body. The material and shape of the projections are selected to provide greater resistance to bending or flexing to forces applied axially than to tangentially applied forces.
METHOD FOR OPERATING A SLEEP MODE IN A MASSAGE CHAIR USING PROGRESSIVE MUSCULAR RELAXATION AND THE MASSAGE CHAIR CAPABLE OF USING THE SAME
A method is provided for operating a sleep mode of a massage chair, which is capable of implementing a sleep mode according to progressive muscle relaxation, and a massage chair for the method is also provided.
Multi-Tool Massage Device
A combination multi-tool massage device in which one or more individual massage tools are assembled into a main spherical body, wherein the spherical body is itself a separate massage tool, is disclosed. A method of using one or more tools of the multi-tool massage device for massage treatment.is also disclosed.
MASSAGING DEVICE
Presented is a massaging device (100) having a massaging surface comprising a plurality of massaging elements (101, 102, 103) moveable relative to each other; characterized in that: the massaging surface is adapted such that when applying the massaging surface to a skin surface (111) and moving the massaging elements (101, 102, 103) relative to each other, two differently directed forces are simultaneously exercised by the massaging elements (101, 102, 103) on the skin surface (111) thereby causing simultaneous pinching and stretching of the skin surface (111) present in between the massaging elements (101, 102, 103).
Roller Massage System
A roller massage system provides a pair of roller massage assemblies in opposed adjustable spaced relation to allow engagement of each one of the pair of roller massage assemblies on a corresponding massageable portion of the body.
STOOL FOR USE WITH A TOLIET
A stool is provided that provides a raised heel squat position to a user that engages the stool. The raised heel squatting position promotes a healthy and productive experience on a toilet. The stool may be collapsible for easier storage and transportation. The stool may be adjustable to provide custom fittings to different size users. Additionally, the stool may be intelligent and may provide a customized immersive experience to a person on a toilet.
MASSAGE APPARATUS FOR MASSAGE CHAIR AND HAVING MASSAGE DEVICE
The present invention is directed to a massage apparatus for a massage chair wherein at least one massage device allows a user to adjust the intensity and position of a massage. The massage apparatus includes a frame and at least one massage device, and may also include a collision-sensing system or device. At least one massage element of at least one massage device is able to move in three-dimensional (3-D) directions. The massage element can be set to any position within the limits of the massage apparatus. When the massage apparatus includes more than one massage device and each massage device has more than one massage element, it is preferred that each massage element of at least one massage device is able to move in 3-D directions, and also preferred that the massage devices are able to travel or be moved along a track at or about the same time.
DEVICE FOR TREATING HUMAN KERATINOUS MATERIAL, IN PARTICULAR WITH THE AID OF AN ELECTRIC CURRENT
A device for treating human keratinous material, in particular with the aid of an electric current. The device includes a reservoir containing a composition, in particular cosmetic or dermatological, to be applied to the keratinous material, and an end fitting for the application of the composition contained in the reservoir, the end fitting comprising a plurality of application members and a distributor. The distributor includes at least one storage cavity for the composition and supply orifices to conduct the composition from the storage cavity or cavities to the application members, and the distributor being configured so that the flow rate of the composition arriving at the application members is identical to within 20% for at least two application members, better for each application member.
DEVICE FOR TREATING HUMAN KERATIN MATERIALS
A device for treating human keratin materials that delivers a cosmetic or dermatological composition onto the latter together with the application of an electric current, in particular an electrophoresis device, the composition applied being contained in a cartridge carried by the device, the cartridge having a body that forms a reservoir and a piston through which a drive screw passes and which can move in the body under the effect of the relative rotation of the screw and the piston, the device comprising an electric drive motor for bringing about this relative rotation of the screw and of the piston, and an electronic circuit for controlling the electric motor.
