METHOD AND DEVICE FOR ACTING ON THE SKIN OF A LIVING BEING AND METHOD FOR COMBATTING SKIN CHANGES (VARIANTS)
The invention relates to a medicine and cosmetology. The use thereof allows for widening the inventory of technical means and obtain universal and simple means for acting on skin integument of living being. A method for acting on skin integument of living being is implemented using a device for acting on skin integument of living being, which device comprising discrete elements fixed at the inside surface of patch intended for creating, at respective areas of the skin integument, the constant pressure ensuring an anematization and deformation of those areas of the skin integument during a predetermined time period, herewith the form, size and surface texture of each of the discrete elements butted against a specific area of the skin integument, as well as a distance between the discrete elements being selected depending on the action required for that specific area of the skin integument, and the predetermined time period and a force of the constant pressure being determined depending on both the specific area of the skin integument and the action required for that area of the skin integument.
Device for treating cellulitis
A massage device comprising at least one arcuate support provided with a plurality of adjacent rollers, wherein each roller is constrained to the arcuate support in a certain position and is further adapted to rotate about an axis belonging to a plane substantially parallel to the tangential plane to the profile of the arcuate support at said certain position, and each roller of said plurality of rollers is convergent or divergent with respect to the immediately adjacent roller.
Hot stone therapy and acupressure apparatus and method
A hot stone therapy and acupressure roller including a specially designed rod where hollow, cylindrical stones, along with acupressure pins, are spaced along the rod. As the rod is applied to the body, the attached stones roll and acupressure may be applied. Targeted acupressure can be applied on either side of the rod, and the acupressure pins serve to bold the cylindrical stones and spacers in place. The stones can be inserted onto the rod or used individually. The stones can be used to conduct a cold and/or hot stone massage. Additionally, each end of the rod is shaped for use as a massage tool. When using either end of the rod as a massage tool, the acupressure pins serve to improve grip and increase leverage.
Vibrating, Essential Oils, Harmony Stone System, Apparatus and Method
A therapeutic system and related method for use in massage, energy or other healing therapy, comprising: a therapeutic stone; a vibrator aperture carved into a top of the stone, passing only partially through the stone; at least one essential oil channel fabricated into a bottom of the vibrator aperture, passing the remainder of the way through from the bottom of the vibrator aperture to a bottom of the stone; a vibrator surrounded on a circumference thereof with silicon or equivalent material, sized to fit snugly but removably into the aperture; the aperture configured deeply enough in relation to a height of the vibrator to leave enough space for the aperture to provide a reservoir for essential oils poured into the aperture; the at least one essential oil channel configured for the essential oils to diffuse therethrough, through the bottom of the stone, and onto a body of a user.
MASSAGE DEVICE FOR NECK PORTION
A massage device includes a rotatay member rotatably supported on a supporting base with a pivot axle, and a massage member engaged onto the rotatay member and rotated in concert with the massage member relative to the supporting base for engaging with a neck portion of a user and for exercising and massaging the neck portion of the user. The supporting base includes a number of rollers engaged with the rotatay member for rotatably supporting the rotatay member on the supporting base. The supporting base includes a number of sockets for engaging with and for supporting the rollers.
LOGOPAEDIC TREATMENT DEVICE
A logopaedic treatment device has a U-shaped basic shape to be inserted into the mouth. The logopaedic treatment device includes a plate segment for partially covering a U-shaped basic shape to be inserted into the mouth, a plate segment for partially covering the rows of teeth in the upper and lower jaw, and, on the side facing away from the teeth, at least one projection, in particular an arrangement of a number of projections, for lip stimulation. The bite strip defines a bite-on plane and the projections are arranged both above and below the bite-on plane.
SPINAL MASSAGE DEVICE
A spinal massage device comprises first to fifth manipulating assemblies of pairs of opposed manipulating members, each manipulating member having a generally rounded contact area and a set of actuators to move the manipulating members progressively controllably into or away from engagement with a user's back, whereby movement of the manipulating members of the second manipulating assembly includes a generally arcuate movement; a controller including logic is arranged to control the respective sets of actuators to move the manipulating members into contact with a user's back, select a massage routine and control the actuators to carry out the massage routine based on generally reciprocal motion; the controller being arranged to control the manipulating members within each of the fourth and fifth manipulating assemblies to move independently to create differential pressure, and being arranged to monitor and adjust contact pressures applied by the manipulating members.
Exercise and massage device
An exercise and massage device utilizes a substantially spherical body having a central cavity that extends to opposite sides of the spherical body so that the cavity forms openings on opposite sides of the spherical body. The spherical body has an outer core of a first resilient hardness. A single rigid handle is positioned within the cavity. The openings of the cavity are sized and configured for allowing a user to access and manually grasp the handle through either opening. A resilient outer layer surrounds the outer core of the spherical body and provides an exterior surface of the spherical body. The resilient outer layer has a second resilient hardness that is less than that of the first resilient hardness of the outer core of the spherical body to provide a cushioning effect when the device is used in a massage mode. The device is weighted to provide a total weight of the device of from 2 lbs or more.
Massage apparatus and method of use
The present invention relates to a device for therapeutic and/or prophylactic massage, in particular massage of mammalian eyelids, having a body housing a heater in thermal communication with a massaging bobbin, the bobbin having a plurality of massaging elements extending therefrom. In use, the bobbin heats the eyelid and rotates such that a massaging force is exerted on the eyelid perpendicular to the last line. This force can be used to express material from blocked sebaceous glands of the mammalian eyelid. The present invention is directed toward a method for treating disorders of the mammalian eyelid, such as inflammation, using the device of the invention.
Roller massage system
A roller massage system provides a pair of roller massage assemblies in opposed adjustable spaced relation to allow engagement of each one of the pair of roller massage assemblies on a corresponding massageable portion of the body.
