TREATMENT DEVICE WITH LIGHT GUIDE
A treatment device for treating the skin, includes a body including a housing forming a gripping area, an electrical supply device arranged in the body, at least one treatment head including a massage device, a device for maneuvering the massage device, actuated by an electric motor which is connected to the electrical supply device, a light source, and a light guide having a projection surface for receiving light emitted by the light source and for projecting a light beam towards an area on the skin. The light guide includes a face opposite the projection surface, the opposite face including a distribution system for distributing the light along the projection surface, and the massage device has an area for contact with the skin to be massaged, the area being intended for transmitting the light and consisting of a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) material having a light transmission of between 0.8 and 0.9 for light with a wavelength of 590 nm or 630 nm.
MASSAGE DEVICE
A massage device comprising a ball and a base with a single channel defined by a rim. The single channel contains a middle surface that has a concave arc shape along its length and a constant arc depth. The ball has a ball radius that is substantially equal to the constant arc depth. The ball is capable of being freely inserted into and freely removed from the single channel. When the ball surface makes contact with middle surface, the ball may roll in a longitudinal direction, while the concave arc shape limits the ball from rolling in a lateral direction.
DERMAL APPLICATOR DEVICE
As shown in FIG. 2, a dermal applicator device (20) comprising includes a housing (22) having a retainer (45) configured to hold and engage positively a spherical surface. A reservoir contains a liquid (28), with the reservoir contained within a shell (26) that is at least partially spherical but at least has curved surfaces supporting rotation. The shell is configured to be engaged within the retainer (45) to permit relative rotation of the shell (26) with respect to the housing (22). The liquid may be a salt solution, a gel composition or a polyol. The liquid is selected to have at least one of a freezing point below 0 C. and a specific latent heat of fusion higher than that of water. Preferably, the shell further includes an outwardly protruding lug (32) extending from its surface, and the housing is configured to form an orbital chamber (52) between an inner surface thereof and the shell (26) when the shell is retained in the retainer (45). The protruding lug (32) is constrained within the orbital chamber (52) such that rotation of the shell relative to the housing is restricted. By reducing the temperature of the retained salt solution or gel to below freezing, rotation of the shell locally massages skin brought into contact with the shell causing vasoconstriction and/or vasodilation which encourages vascular micro-circulation in the skin tissue.
Hand and foot massager
A device for massaging either a human hand or a human foot includes a number of massage elements formed on a plate that is moved within a carriage adjacently below an opening in a housing. The sole of the foot or the palm of the hand is held in contact with the massage elements or in contact with a flexible sheet extending within the opening by an enclosure. In one version, separate enclosures are provided for the hand and for the foot; in another version, the enclosure is adjustable for use with either a hand or a foot.
MASSAGING DEVICE WITH REMOVABLE MASSAGE ELEMENT
A massaging device includes a receptacle having two members detachably secured together, the members each include a chamber, and the chambers of the members are communicating with each other for forming a space within the receptacle, and a massaging element is removably engaged in the space of the receptacle and the chambers of the members, and removable from the chambers of the members for massaging purposes. The massaging element includes a compartment for receiving a cooling agent. The receptacle includes a latch device for selectively securing the members together. The members each include a threaded member for threading with a threaded element of the latch device.
Thermal massage apparatus
A multi-component, convertible, individual thermal therapeutic device has multiple parts that can be arranged in at least 3 ways to provide multiple therapeutic treatments to the users body.
MAT WITH MASSAGE BALL AND RELATED SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A massage mat system includes a mat having an upper surface; a track defined in the upper surface; and a ball-shaped massage roller, wherein the track is dimensioned to receive a first portion of the ball-shaped massage roller while a second portion of the ball-shaped massage roller protrudes from the track above the upper surface of the mat. The ball-shaped massage roller is rotatable along the track through contact between the second portion of the ball-shaped massage roller and a user's foot.
Floor exercise slider
A floor exercise slider may have an attachment device on a side of a frame. A resilient pad is attached to an upper surface of the frame, with the resilient pad having raised blocks separated by grooves. A slide plate may be joined to a bottom surface of the frame. The raised blocks may be evenly spaced apart laterally and/or longitudinally by the grooves. Two sliders may be attached via the attachment devices to form a slider assembly which can accommodate both of the user's hands or feet.
TARGETED MYOFASIAL RELEASE THROUGH USE OF A ROLLING TRACK
Disclosed are an apparatus, a method, and/or a system of targeted myofascial release through use of a rolling track. In one or more embodiments, an apparatus for targeted myofascial release of a human body, muscles, and fascia includes a rolling track with one or more supports forming a support contour permitting a ball to roll along the rolling track while the body exerts force against the ball. The support contour transitions into a rolling surface so the ball can be guided out of the rolling track for the rolling surface and then guided back in. A friction means such as a lip and/or friction surface retains the ball in the rolling track. The rolling track is securable relative to the rolling surface via a mount. The adjustment track may have two or more adjustment positions for repositioning along the rolling surface and/or a pivot to adjust a track orientation.
Mechanical Compression Device For Treating Or Preventing Deep Vein Thrombosis And Associated Complications
A portable, mechanical compression device for preventing or treating deep vein thrombosis and extremity edema is provided herein. The device includes a frame that is placed in whole or in part around a limb, and a plurality of compression units that compress the limb, thereby mechanically facilitating circulation. A user (e.g., wearer or helper) moves the device along the limb, thereby moving the point of compression along the limb in the direction of the movement of the device, facilitating blood flow through the limb, thereby lessening the chance of a clot formation within the deep veins of the limb and decreasing stasis of fluid or blood in the limb.
