Flexible tilting skin contacting devices are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, an apparatus includes an applicator that is to contact skin surface, and a base connectable or detachable from the applicator. The applicator comprises first, second, and third portions. The second portion is disposed between and connected to the first and third portions along the rotation axis of the applicator. The first portion comprises an outwardly curved disc with at least one tip protruding from a major surface of the first portion, the second portion comprises an elastomeric material configured to flex proportionately in response to respective contact pressure on the at least one tip with the skin surface during rotation of the first portion, and the first portion is to tilt in a plane different from a rotation plane associated with the rotation axis in accordance with the flexing of the second portion.

An apparatus and related method provide an effective treatment of skin itch and skin rash, primarily for the scalp. The apparatus may be utilized on the scalp of an individual applied between rows of tightly braided hair. The apparatus may apply a therapeutic treatment such as a moisturizing treatment directly to the scalp while being used to relieve the scalp of the itch.

A massage device includes a massage head including massaging devices movable in rotation relative to the massage head and arranged so as to be in contact with an external body surface of a user; and, a casing carrying the massage head and including a drive system to activate the massaging devices. At least one of the massaging devices is filled with or stores a cosmetic, dermatological and/or pharmaceutical composition such that, during use, it applies the composition to the external body surface and massages the external body surface simultaneously.

A dermal applicator device may include a housing having a retainer configured to hold and engage a spherical surface. A reservoir, containing a liquid, is contained within a shell that is at least partially spherical but at least has curved surfaces supporting rotation. The shell may be engaged within the retainer to permit relative rotation of the shell with respect to the housing. The liquid may be selected to have a freezing point below 0 C. and/or a specific latent heat of fusion higher than water. The shell may further include an outwardly protruding lug extending from its surface, and the housing may be configured to form an orbital chamber between an inner surface thereof and the shell when the shell is retained in the retainer. The protruding lug is constrained within the orbital chamber such that rotation of the shell relative to the housing is restricted.

There is provided a phototherapy apparatus, in which the therapeutic light is delivered through one or more massage components. The massage component provides mechanical massage to the subject biological tissue and modifies the properties of the subject tissue in thickness, density, etc. to facilitate the absorption of the therapeutic light and enhance the effect of the phototherapy procedure. The light source of the phototherapy apparatus is actively cooled by a synthetic jet cooler.

Embodiments of the invention relate to a device including a pressure field stimulator and a roller massager. The pressure field stimulator has a cup and a driver, where the driver is configured to vary a volume of the cup. The roller massager comprises a flexible sheath and a roller disposed adjacent the flexible sheath. In some embodiments, an enclosure is disposed around the roller where the enclosure includes an opening through which the roller protrudes. In some embodiments, the roller is disposed on a threaded shaft, mechanically coupled to a motor, within the enclosure. Disclosed embodiments provide an improved personal massager device. The massager device includes a stimulator, which is G-spot stimulator or a prostate stimulator. The stimulator includes an enclosure having an opening. A threaded post is disposed within the enclosure. The threaded post has a plurality of pitched threads. A roller is disposed within the plurality of pitched threads. The roller protrudes outside the opening of the enclosure. The threaded post is rotated back and forth by a motor, and as it does so, the roller traverses a path. A sheath is disposed tightly over the enclosure. Disclosed embodiments provide a pressure field stimulation device having an arm adaptable in shape. Embodiments of the improved stimulation device include a cup, a driver, and an arm. The arm is flexible in such a way that it holds its position when bent. The adaptable arm may be a handle, a member insertable into the vagina or rectum, or a connection member between the pressure field stimulator and another stimulator. In use, a user positions a rim of the cup such that an opening to the cavity is over an area to be stimulated (e.g., the clitoris). A sealed-, or substantially-sealed, chamber is formed by the cavity walls and the user's skin (surrounding the clitoris). Disclosed herein is a massage device configured to provide a squeezing pressure. The massage device may include an elastically extensible and bendable connector element and at least two rolling massage elements. A portion of the elastically extensible and bendable connector element and the at least two rolling massage elements form a massaging zone configured to receive one or more body parts. The body parts may include feet, forearms, and the like. Accordingly, the massage device may provide relief for specific conditions such as plantar fasciitis and carpel tunnel syndrome.

Beverage containing massage devices that may perform multiple physical recovery functions are disclosed. In an aspect, beverage containing massage devices are disclosed that may be used to transport at least one beverage, such as water, as well as manipulate the soft tissue with at least one portion of a user's body in order to produce a massaging effect. By giving the user a beverage to flush toxins from the body and hydrate, as well as self-induced soft tissue manipulation to break up muscle adhesions, reduce tension and soreness, and improve cardiovascular circulation, the beverage containing massage devices of the present disclosure may allow important physical recovery needs for active individuals to be met using a single device.
