Systems, methods and indicator materials for assessing reduction state in soils
The present invention relates an indicator system for assessing a reduction state of unconsolidated material that includes a delivery tube defining an interior chamber, and a substrate disposed within the interior chamber and including a reactive coating thereon. The reactive coating is at least partially removable from the substrate upon exposure to a reducing condition of unconsolidated material over a period of time. An indicator device including a reactive coating comprising a manganese oxide is also disclosed.
INTEGRATED SAMPLING AND TESTING DEVICE
Provided herein is an integrated sampling and testing device, comprising a sampling device that comprises a syringe and specimen collector, and a testing device that comprises a cap, cylindrical container, and adaptor configured for sampling or testing.
GENE AMPLIFICATION APPARATUS
Provided is a gene amplification apparatus. The gene amplification apparatus includes a supply roller, a roll-type film chip which has a plurality of polymerase chain reaction (PCR) chambers, with which PCR samples are filled, and is wound around the supply roller, a heating roller configured to rotate after being pressed against the film chip and then induce a PCR, a plurality of heating blocks which are disposed on a circumferential surface of the heating roller at preset intervals and brought into contact with the film chip, and a discarding roller configured to discard the film chip which passes the heating roller and on which the PCR is performed.
Container cap liner for vials containing volatile and gas compounds
A container cap liner that that facilitates the storage of gases and various volatile organic compounds (VOCs). More particularly, the container cap liner reduces the loss of gases and various volatile compounds thereby providing for relatively longer storage periods with relatively more accurate analytical analysis.
Piston for centrifugation
A piston for centrifugation according to one embodiment may include: a body; a valve which can move inside the body to the front side and the rear side of the body according to an applied external force; a fluid channel through which a fluid flows from the front side of the body to the rear side of the body; and a valve support for guiding movement of the valve.
Laboratory device
A device for supporting a laboratory object is provided. The device may comprise a body extending about and defining an opening. The body may be positioned in a customized orientation selected from a plurality of orientations. The device may include a first support defined by the body and configured to contact a surface when the body is in a first orientation. The device may include a second support coupled to the first support. The second support may be configured to contact the surface when the body is in a second orientation.
NONENZYMATIC ELECTROCHEMICAL SENSORS
There are provided nonselective, nonenzymatic electrochemical sensor systems for detection and/or measurement of a redox-active analyte in a liquid sample. Sensor systems comprise a nonenyzmatic electrode system having a working electrode, a counter electrode, and a reference electrode, where the working electrode comprises a nonenzymatic modifier selected to increase sensitivity and/or selectivity of the working electrode for an analyte. Sensor systems are wearable, washable and reusable, and can be used for detection of multiple analytes in a sample.
Flexible heating apparatus
A flexible heating apparatus can heat a heated body. The flexible heating apparatus includes a flexible carrier, a heating unit and a control module. The heating unit is at least one layer arranged inside the flexible carrier. The control module is arranged inside the flexible carrier and is electrically connected to the heating unit. Moreover, the control module is connected to an external electric apparatus, and is controlled by the external electric apparatus to control the heating unit to proceed a heating control to the heated body.
Cartridge systems, capacitive pumps and multi-throw valves and pump-valve systems and applications of same
In one aspect of the invention, the fluidic device includes a fluidic chip includes a body having a first surface and an opposite, second surface, one or more channels formed in the body in fluidic communications with input ports and output ports for transferring one or more fluids between the input ports and the output ports, and a fluidic chip registration means formed on the first surface for aligning the fluidic chip with a support structure; and an actuator configured to engage with the one or more channels at the second surface of the body for selectively and individually transferring the one or more fluids through the one or more channels from at least one of the input ports to at least one of the output ports at desired flowrates.
FLUID DELIVERY CONSUMABLE FOR DELIVERING A FLUID TO A BIOREACTOR
The present disclosure provides a fluid delivery consumable for delivering a fluid dose to a bioreactor. The fluid delivery consumable comprising a vial for holding the fluid dose, the vial having an outlet and an open end opposite to the outlet, a plunger engaged with the open end and operable to urge the fluid dose toward the outlet, and a connector proximal to the outlet, the connector being attachable to the bioreactor and adapted to move the fluid dose from the vial to the bioreactor based on operation of the plunger.
