Biopsy sample manipulation and imaging system and methods for use
An example fluidic device includes an elastic tube, a first actuator coupled to an outer surface of the elastic tube between a first end and a second end of the elastic tube, and a second actuator coupled to the outer surface of the elastic tube between the first actuator and the second end of the elastic tube. The first actuator and the second actuator are configured to move apart from one another to transition a portion of the elastic tube positioned between the first actuator and the second actuator from a first condition to a second condition. A diameter of the elastic tube is greater in the first condition than in the second condition. The fluidic device also includes one or more rotatable components coupled to the first actuator and the second actuator which are configured to rotate the portion of the elastic tube positioned between the first actuator and the second actuator.

A blood clotting time measurement cartridge includes: an inlet on one end of a measurement flow channel and through which blood is introduced; a communication opening on the other end of the measurement flow channel and through which air suction or air pressure application or the blood introduced from the inlet is performed; a moving body arranged in the measurement flow channel moves; a clotting accelerator applied on at least one of a flow channel wall surface, which defines the measurement flow channel, and the moving body; and a detection area through which light is transmitted to a predetermined part in the measurement flow channel, and where it is possible to detect with light whether there is the moving body or the blood making a reciprocating motion in the measurement flow channel in association with air suction or air pressure application or the blood from the communication opening.

An aseptic bioprocess package is provided herein. The aseptic bioprocess package includes a 2D flexible container including an interior compartment, a height having an upper half and a lower half, an inlet and an outlet, the inlet and the outlet being disposed on the same half of the 2D flexible container and a channel-forming feature in the interior compartment of the container, the channel-forming feature being configured to maintain a fluid flow path that fluidly connects the interior compartment of the flexible container with the outlet.

Test tube vacuum retainer
Embodiments can provide a test tube vacuum retainer system, comprising an outer body comprising a midline plate; one or more side walls, a bottom wall, and a top plate comprising an access hole; a test tube holder comprising a sealant ring; a base; and a vacuum tube comprising an external outlet; wherein the test tube holder is secured within the outer body to the base, which in turn is secured to the midline plate; wherein the vacuum tube is connected to the test tube holder at a first end, and the external outlet is configured to be connected to a vacuum pump configured to apply a vacuum force to the test tube holder when a test tube is inserted into the access hole and placed onto the test tube holder.
Blood collection tube
A blood collection tube for physically separating the plasma and red blood cell fractions of a centrifuged sample is described. The blood collection tube has an elastomeric sleeve with rigid tube segments at both ends. Following blood collection and centrifugation, the elastomeric sleeve may be twisted to constrict its inner diameter and physically separate the two fractions. The blood collection tube may be secured in this position with a pin and a clamp, and further with an adhesive tape with pH paper. This enables blood samples to be transferred over long distances to a central lab facility without spoiling.
Pressure Manifold and Culture Module
A perfusion manifold assembly is described that allows for perfusion of a microfluidic device, such as an organ on a chip microfluidic device comprising cells that mimic cells in an organ in the body, that is detachably linked with said assembly so that fluid enters ports of the microfluidic device from a fluid reservoir, optionally without tubing, at a controllable flow rate.
A culture module is contemplated that allows the perfusion and optionally mechanical actuation of one or more microfluidic devices, such as organ-on-a-chip microfluidic devices comprising cells that mimic at least one function of an organ in the body.
CRYOPRESERVATION DEVICES
Vial assemblies comprising a tubular body and a flexible bottom or flexible liner are described herein, wherein the flexible bottom or liner is configured to compress at least partially upon the application of force. Methods for storing and removing frozen samples from such vial assemblies are also described herein.
FLUID HANDLING DEVICE
This invention addresses the problem of providing a fluid handling device that can be reliably and easily connected to various devices, can supply a desired fluid to various devices, and can receive fluid from various devices. The fluid handling device that addresses this problem comprises: a first device having a flow path for allowing a fluid to flow therethrough and an opening for connecting the flow path and the outside; and a tube having a first end that is inserted into the opening. The first device further comprises a support part that fixes the tube such that the central axis of a second end of the tube is at an angle in relation to the central axis of the first end of the tube.

The invention relates to a sealed container (1) comprising a flexible film (2) which is arranged to define an internal space (3) and a through-opening, and a sealed connection device (4) which is arranged to allow the flexible film (2) to be connected to a complementary connection device of a sterile enclosure, while ensuring sterile communication between the internal space (3) of the container (1) and that of the enclosure, the connection device (4) comprising a flange to which the flexible film (2) is attached, the flange delimiting the through-opening of the flexible film (2), characterized in that the flange is constituted by two different pieces distinct from each other, respectively forming an external sleeve (5) and an internal sleeve (6) the flexible film (2) being kept gripped between the external sleeve (5) and the internal sleeve (6).
