Combined Exercise and Massage Device
An exercise and massage device utilizes a substantially spherical body having a central cavity that extends to opposite sides of the spherical body so that the cavity forms openings on opposite sides of the spherical body. A transverse handle is positioned within the cavity that extends across the cavity. At least one grasping portion is located within the cavity and is spaced between the transverse handle and at least one of the openings of the central cavity to provide a fingerhold during use. A resilient outer layer surrounds the spherical body and provides an exterior surface of the spherical body. The resilient outer layer is provided with projections to facilitate massage when used in the massage mode when the device is used in a massage mode. The device is weighted to provide a total weight of from 2 lbs or more. In another embodiments of an exercise and massage device at least one ring member is encased within the spherical body to provide at least one of weight and structural support to the device.
Meibomian Gland Roller
A Meibomian Gland Roller system allows for self-administered the treatment for a leading cause of dry eyes, namely, tear film oil deficiency. The system combines an effective and safe technique to combine mechanical rolling pressure with heat for meibomian gland drainage. The rolling action of the roller cylinder combined with the roller head to increase effectiveness in empting inspis sated meibomian glands. The roller allows the patient to safely start the application of the pressure at the bottom of the glands and effectively roll open clogged oil glands. The washable roller keeps the head clean for long term use. A preheated eye-shaped soft gel pad can prepare the lids before the roller tip is applied by heating and softening the meibomian gland contents, allowing the roller to have a more effective action to induce mechanical extraction of the gland content.
BODY SHAPING STICK
The present disclosure discloses a body shaping stick, and relates to the field of medical health-care instruments. The body shaping stick includes a stick body (1). At least one end part of the stick body (1) is provided with a removable first holding part (2); a free end part of the first holding part (2) is at least set to be spherical for a user to hold and conduct various fitness operations; and the free end part of the first holding part (2) may rotate under the action of a force. The first holding part is removably and rotatably mounted at the end part of the stick body of the body shaping stick, so the first holding part can rotate under a palm acting force during use and has higher flexibility. Furthermore, one or two holding parts can be selectively mounted according to the need of a user, which is more humanized.
ADJUSTABLE MASSAGE DEVICE FOR TRIGGER POINT RELEASE
The present invention relates to therapeutic body massage devices, and more particularly, to an extendable and retractable massage device which is particularly effective in relieving tender and painful connective tissue and muscular conditions, including but not limited to trigger points. The present invention is directed to an appliance having an adjustable shaft that can access all points on both sides of the body and that allows an individual to place a pressure accessory element of the appliance between the body and a flat surface to apply sustained pressure to a treatment site with minimal effort without taxing other parts of the body and without the pressure accessory element dislodging from the treatment site. The present invention further provides a massage system and a method of self-administering massage therapy on a body or limb.
Complementary Alternative Medicine Cold Compress Temple Massager
A temple massager including first and second flexible arcuate arms, each having a proximal portion connected to a handle and a distal portion, each of said distal portions having tip retention structure configured to capture and retain first and second pressure members; a selectively removable pressure member is disposed on each of the tip retention structures. The pressure members are fabricated from cold compress material and may include a compartment for containing a fluid or gel cold compress composition. A tension adjustment mechanism is disposed between the arcuate arms proximate the handle to adjust the spacing between the pressure members and thereby adjust pressure applied to a user's temples.
Clogged Duct Massager
A clogged duct massager includes a handle, a pair of arms each affixed at. a lower end to an upper end of the handle, and a massage roller having opposing sides that rotatably connect to the upper end of each arm, such that the massage roller is freely rotatable between the pair of arms. A power supply disposed within the handle is operably connected to a heating element and a vibration motor disposed within the massage roller. Temperature and vibration controls disposed on the handle allow the user to selectively activate or deactivate the heating element and the vibration motor. The massage roller pressure, heat, and vibration can be applied to any desired area of the skin in order to prevent and alleviate clogging of ducts and pores, thereby helping to prevent mastitis and other negative conditions associated with dogged ducts and pores.
MASSAGE DEVICE WITH TWO MODULES
The invention relates to a massage device comprising two modules mounted in relative translation to one another by a mechanism allowing their reversible arrangement in at least one first massage configuration and a second message configuration when the modules are brought together or moved apart from one another. Each of the modules has a rear cap with outer geometry arranged to, in the first massage configuration, form a first massage surface with the cap of the other module. Each of the modules has a front extension with outer geometry arranged to, in the second massage configuration, form a second massage surface with the extension of the other module. The extensions are arranged to be able to interlock with one another when the modules are brought together towards the first massage configuration.
Foot massaging device with first and second handle assemblies
A massaging device includes a first arm having a first arm-first end and a first arm-second end and a second arm connected to the first arm and having a second arm-first end and a second arm-second end. The device also includes a first massaging assembly secured to the first arm-first end and a second massaging assembly secured to the second arm-first end. The device also includes a first handle assembly secured to the first arm-second end and a second handle assembly secured to the second arm-second end. Application of a first force on the first handle assembly and the second handle assembly increases a distance between the first massaging assembly and the second massaging assembly. Application of a second force on the first handle assembly and the second handle assembly decreases the distance between the first massaging assembly and the second massaging assembly.
Molded Ice Applicator for Biological Surfaces
A cryotherapy device that enables the applicator to massage a biological surface with targeted precision using a sphere of ice attached to a handle and an insulating mold. The device allows for the filling and freezing of water forming a spherical ice form, as well as protection for the applicator's hands and fingers from exposure to the ice. It is comprised of three components: a handle for gripping the device, which is anchored into the spherical ice form, and two sub adjacent hemispherical molds, which seal together in order to contain water that is frozen into a spherical ice form. One hemispherical flexible mold is sub adjacent to the handle, and also serves to provide insulation for the applicator's fingers. The other hemispherical mold possesses rigid protrusions that enable the device to stand vertically on a flat surface. After the water is frozen within the device, this third component is detached from the other two components in order to expose the spherical ice form for application of cryotherapy massage to a biological surface.
