The invention relates to a chain link for a support chain for supporting a compression belt in a separating device for separating materials of different flowability, the chain link having a support surface and an inner surface opposite said support surface and is characterized in that a protruding support element is arranged on at least one end face of the chain link so as to form an undercut. The invention further relates to a support chain for a support apparatus for supporting a compression belt in a separating device for separating materials of different flowability, the support chain being an articulated chain which has individual chain links connected to each other in an articulated manner, the chain links being threaded onto chain pins extending transverse to the conveying direction F with the chain links according to the invention. The invention also relates to a support apparatus having the support chain according to the invention.
Vehicle system and method
A vehicle and method of use in subsea operations related to crushing concrete mattresses including at least one lift assembly, at least one crushing roller, at least one blow out pipe cable of blowing crushed concrete mattress fragments into a rubble container. In a preferred embodiment, the vehicle has at least one fork lift connected to the lift assembly, a digger chain assembly arrangement, treads, an interface connected to the vehicle and capable of engaging the rubble container, and each rubble container is detachable from the interface.
Process for producing superabsorbent polymer particles
The invention relates to a process for producing superabsorbent polymer particles, comprising polymerization of a monomer solution, drying the resulting polymer gel and grinding the dried polymer gel with a roll mill, wherein the rolls of the roll mill are cleaned by reducing the feed rate to the roll mill, and if the deflection and/or the power consumption increases above a setpoint, operating the roll mill with reduced feed, and increasing the feed rate to the roll mill.
Device and method for comminuting particles in liquid material
The invention relates to a device (1) for comminuting particles in a liquid material, in particular a powder or a semi-liquid for producing a chocolate mass. Said device (1) comprises at least one pair of rollers (2, 3), for which at least one process parameter, in particular the roller contact pressure and/or the rotational speed of one of the rollers (2, 3) can be adjusted. The invention also relates to a device (1) comprising a filling level meter (11) for measuring the height of the filling level (5) of the liquid material in the roller gap or in a roller trough (4) arranged upstream of the rollers. A control unit (11) modifies at least one process parameter in accordance with the measured height of the filling level (5) of the liquid material in the roller gap or in the roller trough (4). The invention also relates to a method for comminuting particles in a liquid material and to a method for calibrating a control unit (10).
GLASS BREAKING APPARATUS, GLASS PROCESSING SYSTEM, AND GLASS PROCESSING METHOD
A glass breaking apparatus (10) includes a belt conveyor assembly (100) configured to transfer glass in a first direction, and a breaking roller assembly (200) configured to break the glass received from the belt conveyor assembly, the breaking roller assembly including a first breaking roller (210) including a breaking pin (215) and configured to rotate around a rotation axis extending in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction, and a second breaking roller (220) arranged under the first breaking roller (210), configured to rotate in a direction opposite to a rotation direction of the first breaking roller.
Crusher with cutter assembly and cutter thereof
A crusher includes a base, a cylinder pivoted to the base, cutting portions arranged on the cylinder. A crusher cutter assembly is further provided, including: a cutter base, for being assembled to the crusher, having receiving slots including an abutting recess and a bottom portion. A crusher cutter is further provided for assembling on the cutter base. The crusher cutter includes: two corner portions, disposed on two sides thereof, for being inserted in the abutting recess and fixed on the cutter base, two sides of the corner portion abutting against the abutting recess; two abutting portions, disposed on two opposite sides of the crusher cutter, for being positionably abutting against another crusher cutter; wherein when the crusher cutter is fixed on the cutter base, a part of the corner portion protrudes beyond the cutter base and is alternatively shifted with a part of the cutting portions.
ON-THE-FLY SPEED VARIATION OF DOUBLE ROLL CRUSHERS FOR OIL SANDS CRUSHING
A double roll crusher is provided for mined oil sands feed, even in the winter season. Each roll has a driveline driven by a high efficiency motor controlled by a variable frequency drive (VFD). Through removal of the prior, yet ubiquitous fluid coupling and related failure-prone components, a shorter, streamlined, lower inertia driveline results. The VFDs and a system controller adapt to the processing of difficult oil sand feed, anticipating high current events, adjusting roll speed on-the-fly, adjusting feeder rate or both to minimizing the high cost of process interruptions. Maximum startup torque and on-the-fly modification of roll and feeder speeds is provided to manage feed, environment and process variations and in instances of a stall, immediate recovery therefrom for reduced downtime, reduced wear and increased efficiency.
FEED LEVEL CONTROL SYSTEM AND METHOD
The present invention is related to an inlet arrangement for a grinding machine, preferably a roller mill, comprising a main sensor, preferably a force sensor, and an additional sensor, preferably a level sensor, that extends into the storage container to a level that corresponds to the level where the main sensor is provided, and a control unit which is configured to generate, from the values determined by the main sensor and the additional sensor and from a setpoint value, an output signal to control the flow of the milling material out of the storage container. The present invention is further more related to said control unit, a grinding machine, preferably a roller mill, comprising said inlet arrangement, and to a method for determining and controlling the level of milling material in a storage container for milling material of a grinding machine, preferably a roller mill, involving the above inlet arrangement.
