Grinding roll improvements
A grinding apparatus may include a frame and a pair of rolls each having a circumferential surface and being rotatably mounted on the frame, and a plurality of teeth located on the circumferential surface. In embodiments, at least one roll comprises a roll body structure rotatably mounted on the frame and a roll cover structure forming the circumferential surface, and the roll cover structure may be at least partially removable from the roll body structure to permit replacement of at least a portion of the circumferential surface without requiring removal of the roll body structure from the frame. In embodiments, the teeth on one roll may include an upper cap portion formed of a relatively harder material and a lower base portion formed of a relatively softer material. In embodiments, the teeth on one roll have a coating of a relatively harder material than a relatively softer base material forming the tooth.

A ROLL FOR A ROLLER PRESS, AS WELL AS A ROLLER PRESS PROVIDED WITH SUCH A ROLL
The invention relates to a roll for a roller press suitable for comminution of granular material by interparticle crushing, as well as a roller press provided with such a roll. In certain applications and under specific operational conditions the autogenous layer starts to displace or flow between the outwardly extending wear-resistant surface studs. This flow of granular material has a low velocity relative to the roll and can cause excessive wear to the base material of the outer cylindrical pressing surface of the roll, instead of protecting it.
LOCKING SYSTEM FOR INDUSTRIAL MACHINE AND METHOD FOR OPERATING THE SAME
A locking system in an industrial machine is provided. The locking system includes a lock-ring positioned in a lock-ring recess in a rotational shaft, a spacing plate axially interfacing with the lock-ring, and a compression plate with a threaded opening. The locking system further includes a bolt threadingly engaged with the threaded opening in the compression plate and a spring axially interposed between the spacing plate and the compression plate.
Transport and processing roller for a harvester
A conveying and conditioning roller for a harvesting machine is provided on the surface thereof with teeth in the form of toothed strips which extend over the longitudinal extent of the roller and in each case have a leading tooth flank and a trailing tooth flank as well as a tooth edge. The roller is provided with wear protection zones continuously or in partial regions, the wear resistance thereof being greater than that of the material of the base body of the roller. The base body has a tooth structure determining the shape of the teeth and tooth wear protection zones are formed on the trailing tooth flanks by a high energy radiation process, substantially maintaining the geometry of the tooth structure, roller wear protection zones being formed together thereby on the rollers, as well as a method for producing such a roller wear protection zone.
Grinder using induced electric field
The present invention relates to a grinder using induced electric fields. The grinder comprises: a grinding unit on which a plurality of protrusions for cutting are disposed on an outer circumferential surface thereof; a power unit disposed in the grinding unit to generate electric fields and attach the conductive materials to the grinding unit; and a chamber disposed outside the grinding unit and comprising beads that disperse and grind the conductive materials attached to the grinding unit, wherein the conductive materials have directionality by the electric fields of the power unit.

Apparatus and method for conditioning bamboo or vegetable cane fiber
Systems, methods, and apparatus for conditioning bamboo or other types of vegetable cane are provided. In one aspect, the present technology provides a cane processing assembly for use with a substantially flattened sheet of bamboo culm or vegetable cane having a plurality of longitudinally oriented fiber bundles. The assembly comprises first and second conditioning rollers configured to apply pressure to the sheet that breaks at least some natural bonds connecting laterally adjacent fiber bundles in the sheet. The first and second conditioning rollers are adjustable relative to each other so as to vary the pressure applied to the sheet by the first and second conditioning rollers.
