Tapered pick holder
A pick system includes a holder and a pick assembly. The holder includes a first end, a second end, and a bore extending between the first end and the second end and defining a longitudinal axis. The surface of the bore may be tapered so that the diameter of the bore proximate the first end is greater than the diameter of the bore proximate the second end. The pick assembly includes a shaft. The shaft is received within the bore of the holder along the longitudinal axis, and the shaft may be tapered to mate with the bore.
ROLLER AND PRESS APPARATUS INCLUDING THE SAME
A roller comprising a roller body (2) on which a plurality of ribs (4) are arranged, wherein each of the ribs (4) are formed of a number of protrusions (5) which are disposed continually in a direction of the roller shaft, the protrusions (5) are made from materials having a high wear-resisting property. This arrangement not only improve the primary yield of finished products, but also increase the lifetime and wear-resisting property, thereby the primary yield of finished products in present invention is up to 22%-30%, and the lifetime of the roller is up to 15,000-20,000 hours, further the wear loss of the stud is only 2.5 mm per 2,100 hours.
Press roll for a roll press
The invention relates to a press roll (1) for a roll press, in particular for comminuting highly abrasive materials, comprising a roll body (2) which has a plurality of pocket-like recesses (3) that are distributed over the circumference and are spaced from one another in the circumferential direction (T) on one or both roll edges, each said recess being formed so as to be open laterally and at the top. Only one hard body is removably inserted into each individual pocket-like recess (3) as an exchangeable edge protection element (5), and the length (L) of the pocket-like recesses (3) and the length (I) of the inserted edge protection elements (5) in the circumferential direction (T) is greater than the distance (A) between two directly adjacent recesses (3).
Method for producing a wear-resistant roller component
Described is a wear-resistant roller component for handling abrasive materials where the component comprises a metal body with at least one surface. It is characterized in that a metal template having a pattern of through-going holes is arranged on the at least one surface of the metal body and in that a cover arranged to cover at least a part of the metal template is located at a distance from the metal template to form a gap between the cover and the metal template and in that a powder material suitable for sintering is introduced into the through-going holes in the metal template through the gap and in that the metal body, the metal template, the cover and the material powder are bonded together by means of a sintering process.

PICK WITH LIMITED TAPERED ENGAGEMENT
A pick system includes a holder and a pick assembly. The holder includes a first end, a second end, and a bore extending between the first end and the second end and defining a longitudinal axis. The surface of the bore may be tapered so that the diameter of the bore proximate the first end is greater than the diameter of the bore proximate the second end. The pick assembly includes a shaft. Pick retainer
A breaker pick retainer system for a breaker includes a holder that defines a pick aperture and a pin aperture, and a breaker pick received in the pick aperture of the holder and including a pin receiving feature aligned with the pin aperture. The breaker pick retainer system including a pin received within the pin aperture of the holder and seated in the pin receiving feature of the breaker pick for maintaining the breaker pick within the holder. The breaker pick retainer system further including a resilient plug received within the pin aperture for sealing the pin aperture. The plug inhibits removal of the pin from the pin aperture.
