Herein described is a machine (10) for processing scrap (R) comprising: a container body (15) which defines a volume for receiving the scrap (R) and which comprises an opening (30) for the inlet of the scrap (R), provided in the container body (15), for access to the reception volume (20), a press (45) suitable to press the scrap (R) and at least partially housed in the reception volume (20), and a shear (70) for cutting the scrap (R) at least partially housed in the reception volume (20). In particular, the inlet mouth (125) is obtained in an upper portion of the container body (15), the press (45) is positioned at a lower height with respect to the inlet opening (30) and the shear (70) is positioned at a lower height with respect to the press (45).

Method of feeding material to a horizontal shaft impact crusher, and a crushing device
A crushing device includes a horizontal shaft impact crusher having an impeller rotating around a horizontal shaft and at least one curtain against which material may be crushed. The crushing device further includes a first feeding device for feeding a first type of material to be crushed to a crushing chamber of the horizontal shaft impact crusher. A second feeding device feeds a second type of material, having a smaller average particle size than the first type of material, to the crushing chamber simultaneously with the first feeding device feeding the first type of material to the crushing chamber. A mixing arrangement for at least partially mixes the first and the second types of materials with each other before bringing them into contact with the impeller.

The material reducing machine includes a mill box at least partially surrounding the rotary reducing drum and including a mill box lid mounted generally above the rotary reducing drum. The mill box lid has an inlet edge positioned above a rear portion of the rotary reducing drum and an outlet edge positioned above the front portion of the rotary reducing drum. The mill box includes an infeed opening that is configured to receive material from a feed table and has an upper opening defined by the outlet edge of the mill box lid.

Device for communication of process feed material with upstream sifting
A device for the comminution of free-flowing feed material is provided that includes a housing enclosing a comminution chamber which contains a rotor that rotates around an axis, and has comminution tools over its circumference. A feeding device to transport the feed material to the comminution chamber in form of a gas-solid matter mixture, wherein the feeding device features a pneumatic sieve passage which uses the effect of gravity for removal of foreign particles from the feed material. In order to operate both the sieve passage and the device under optimal process parameters, the device features at least one inlet port for the supply of secondary air, wherein the at least one inlet port flows into the gas-solid matter mixture downstream of the sieve passage.

A device for the comminution of free-flowing feed material is provided that includes a housing enclosing a comminution chamber which contains a rotor that rotates around an axis, and has comminution tools over its circumference. A feeding device to transport the feed material to the comminution chamber in form of a gas-solid matter mixture, wherein the feeding device features a pneumatic sieve passage which uses the effect of gravity for removal of foreign particles from the feed material. In order to operate both the sieve passage and the device under optimal process parameters, the device features at least one inlet port for the supply of secondary air, wherein the at least one inlet port flows into the gas-solid matter mixture downstream of the sieve passage.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR SEPARATING MATERIAL COMPOSITES
A device for separating material composites to be disposed of, including at least two material fractions with differing material properties, and a method for separating such material composites are provided. The device, in a region of an upper cover plate, has a bowl-shaped dispensing channel having at least one opening facing toward an impact chamber, and a dispenser arranged in the channel and designed to receive material fractions of a second type from the region of the chamber above a first separating screen and/or near the upper cover plate. Individual material fractions of a material composite, such as a material fraction of the second type to be comminuted and having a lower density than a first material fraction, may be separated in larger pieces from remaining material, to facilitate the transport of individual material fractions and further processing as part of raw material recovery.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR SEPARATING MATERIAL COMPOSITES
A device for separating material composites to be disposed of, including at least two material fractions with differing material properties, and a method for separating such material composites are provided. The device, in a region of an upper cover plate, has a bowl-shaped dispensing channel having at least one opening facing toward an impact chamber, and a dispenser arranged in the channel and designed to receive material fractions of a second type from the region of the chamber above a first separating screen and/or near the upper cover plate. Individual material fractions of a material composite, such as a material fraction of the second type to be comminuted and having a lower density than a first material fraction, may be separated in larger pieces from remaining material, to facilitate the transport of individual material fractions and further processing as part of raw material recovery.
