CHIROPRACTIC ADJUSTING INSTRUMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD
A portable battery power operated chiropractic adjusting instrument, manipulator or thruster for applying a selectable adjustment energy impulse to a patient through a plunger having a resilient or cushioned head with the energy impulse applied to the plunger being supplied by a solenoid. The adjusting instrument can have annunciators or indicators for preload, readiness to operate, level of energy impulse and the like. The power source can be an internal rechargeable battery or removable rechargeable battery pack.
PORTABLE PERCUSSIVE MASSAGE DEVICE
A percussive massage device may include a housing having a housing interior. A motor may be positioned in the housing interior and may include a rotatable motor shaft having a motor axis. A battery may be positioned in the housing interior. A switch may be configured to activate the motor. A reciprocating shaft may operatively be connected to the rotatable motor shaft. The reciprocating shaft may include a distal end and is able to reciprocate in response to rotation of the rotatable motor shaft. A vent may extend through a vent opening in the housing to provide ventilation to the housing interior.
Massage appliance, manufacturing method thereof, and manufacturing apparatus
Provided is a technology of a handy type and small-sized massage appliance. In the massage appliance, the vibrating section which is brought in contact with the user's skin and applies vibration is covered by the dual-structured cladding material having a high flexibility. Therefore, the original massage effect such as the promotion of bloodstream, the removal of the body wastes, and recovery from fatigue can be exerted without giving damage on a sensitive diseased part or the skin. There are provided a motor 5, a vibrating piece 8 which is rotatably driven by the motor, a vibrator body 2 which includes the case 9 accommodating these components, a soft cover 20 which surrounds the outer surface of the case, and a super-soft resin 40 which is interposed between the outer surface of the case and the soft cover and integrates the case and the soft cover.
Pulse Device
A fitness device for mechanical vibration of a muscle includes a wearable housing, and a vibration generator contained inside the wearable housing. The vibration generator generates a pulsed vibration or constant vibration and the pulsed or constant vibration is configured to be delivered to a muscle of the user. The fitness device further includes a battery coupled to the vibration generator and an adhesive pad attached to an outer surface of the bottom of the wearable housing. The adhesive pad removably attaches the wearable housing to the user.
Massage tool rotatably attachable to a reciprocating motor
A massage tool includes a rod having a proximal end and a distal end, and a body follower having a proximal side and a distal side. The proximal end is configured for attachment to a reciprocating shaft of a reciprocating motor. The reciprocating shaft has a stroke axis and a stroke length, and the distal end of the rod is configured to rotatably attach to the proximal side of the body follower by means of a rotating joint defining a center of rotation. The distal side of the body follower may include a body contact area having a maximum length at least three times greater than a minimum distance from the center of rotation of the rotating joint to the body contact area.
PREEMPTIVE PAIN AVOIDANCE AND/OR DIAGNOSTIC APPARATUS AND METHODS OF OPERATING SAME
A method for distracting an individual from a treatment event comprises providing a distraction tool; positioning the distraction tool at a contact location on an individual, the contact location being substantially adjacent a location of a treatment event; activating an oscillation device to induce vibrations in the distraction tool; and subsequently initiating the treatment event at the treatment event location. The distraction tool comprises a stimulation apparatus comprising a housing and a plurality of projections extending from the housing. The oscillation device is in communication with the distraction tool to induce vibrations specifically in the stimulation apparatus. Activating the oscillation device to induce vibrations causes the plurality of projections to oscillate against the individual at the contact location, thereby shifting attention from the treatment event to the vibrations, wherein the shift in attention causes the individual to discount pain caused by the treatment event.
HAND-ATTACHED CONTROLLED PULSED VIBRATION DEVICE
A hand-attached controlled pulsed vibration device, allowing for transmission of an enhanced massage, allowing full skin-to-skin contact between the hand of the person giving a massage and the skin of the person receiving the massage, by mounting on the back of the hand, with no glove, partial glove, or straps on the palm-side of the hand, and providing for vibration of controllable intensities and cycle times not normally achievable from a small vibrating motor, by controlling the electric power provided to one or more small vibrating motors, such that the operation of one motor or the interactions between two or more motors result in desirable intensities and cycle times of overall vibration.
Travel pillow
In one or more embodiments, the present invention provide a versatile travel pillow that provides support to the user's head, neck, and shoulders, prevents the user from sliding sideways with respect to the seat, can be quickly and easily secured to the headrest or armrest of a seat or chair, and can be quickly and easily moved from one vehicle seat to another.
A MECHANICAL TOY
The invention provides a mechanical toy (2) comprising: a body portion (6) and an operating handle (4), the operating handle (4) being connectable to and disconnectable from the body portion (6); the operating handle (4) comprising a switch mechanism (19) operably connected to a moveable shaft (24), the moveable shaft (24) being operable to move between a first position and a second position under the operation of the switch mechanism (19); the body portion (6) comprising a gear mechanism operably connectable to the moveable shaft (24) and operable in use to rotate upon movement of the moveable shaft (24) between the first position and the second position; the body portion (6) further comprising at least one moveable limb (8) operably connected to the gear mechanism, at least part of the limb (8) being configured to move in use upon rotation of the gear mechanism, wherein the at least one moveable limb (8) or part thereof is rotatable about a primary pivot point (14), the primary pivot point (14) being defined by the axis of at least one gear of the gear mechanism and wherein the at least one moveable limb (8) comprises two or more connected portions (10) which are rotatable, in use with respect to one another about a secondary pivot point (16).
