Large capacity upright tilting wet stone grinder
The present invention relates to tilting a wet stone grinder of capacity in the 125-300 liter size. Tilting is accomplished by a gear driven, manual or motorized tilting mechanism.
Additive Coated Particles for Low Cost High Performance Materials
Existing methods of extrusion and other techniques to compound host and additives material uniformly disperse the additive in the host. This innovation uses ball milling to a coat a host particle with an additive dramatically reducing the additive required to achieve a percolative network in the host.
AGITATOR MILL COMPRISING BASKET WITH THICKENING
Agitator mill including a grinding chamber containing grinding bodies and an agitator shaft, which revolves therein about a horizontal agitator shaft axis, which supports several grinding members, which are connected to it in a rotationally fixed manner and which are spaced apart from one another in the direction of the horizontal axis, preferably in the shape of grinding disks, which move the grinding bodies, whereby, on the outlet side, the agitator shaft has a basket, which is preferably studded with grinding members on its outer circumference and which overlaps the split tube-supporting outlet, characterized in that in the region of its free end, the basket has a section with an enlarged outer diameter.
Method and apparatus for recycling asphalt milings
Apparatus and method for recycling asphalt millings containing bitumen and stone. A milling tube is provided having an outer tube and an inner tube axially aligned with and substantially contained within the outer tube, the inner tube having a diameter less that a diameter of the outer tube to thus define a mixing space between the inner and outer tubes. At least one of the inner and outer tubes is adapted to rotate relative to the other. An inlet is provided to the mixing space to receive the asphalt millings. A plurality of inner tube projections project radially outward from a surface of the inner tube toward the outer tube, and a plurality of outer tube projections project radially inward from a surface of the outer tube toward the inner tube. The milling tube facilitates the separation of the asphalt millings into bitumen and stone as one of the inner and outer tubes rotates relative to the other. Preferably, at least one of the outer and inner tubes contains an abrasive coating on a surface thereof, the inner tube projections and outer tube projections are comprised of wire rope, and an inlet is provided in the outer tube through which cold air can be applied to the mixing space.
Agitator shaft for a grinding mill
An agitator shaft (1) for a grinding mill, including: an axle (2) intended to be driven in rotation, a succession of flat agitator elements (3) and tubular spacers (4) mounted in alternation on the axle and in a stack along the axle (2), end stops (5, 6), secured to the axle, that keep the stack of agitator elements and spacers under compression, characterized in that the tubular spacers (4) have orifices allowing the free circulation of material and fluids from the outside of the agitator shaft to the inside, and vice versa.
VERTICAL GRINDING MILL, GRINDING MEDIA HANDLING SYSTEM, GRINDING MEDIA DISCHARGE DEVICE, AND METHOD FOR HANDLING GRINDING MEDIA
A grinding media handling system for a vertical grinding mill comprises: a reservoir; a pump, such as a sump pump or a horizontal pump, for pumping water and/or a slurry of material to be ground from the reservoir via an inlet in an upper section of the vertical grinding mill into a grinding chamber of the mill; means for adding grinding media to the water and/or slurry upstream and/or downstream of the pump; and means for discharging slurry and grinding media from a lower section of the vertical mill.
VERTICAL GRINDING MILL, SCREW SHAFT, AND METHOD OF DESIGNING AND/OR MANUFACTURING A SCREW SHAFT
A screw shaft for a vertically stirred grinding mill is arranged so as to be accommodated within a grinding chamber of the grinding mill while extending in a longitudinal direction. The screw shaft comprises a central shaft and at least one screw flight surrounding the central shaft, and the central shaft comprises an outer shaft wall defining a cavity within the interior of the central shaft, which cavity is closed at least at one longitudinal end of the central shaft.
METHOD OF AND SYSTEM FOR OPERATING A VERTICAL GRINDING MILL
The invention relates to a method of predicting a level of wear of a wear component of a vertical mill, whereby the vertical mill is used for grinding feed material. The method includes, while the mill is in operation, (i) capturing/obtaining a thermal profile of the mill from outside a grinding chamber of the mill, and (ii) determining an indication as to a level of wear of at least one wear component of the mill which is located inside the grinding chamber, based on the thermal profile of the mill. The step of capturing/obtaining a thermal profile may include performing a thermographic analysis of the mill from outside the grinding chamber of the mill. The determining step may include determining whether the wear component requires changing/replacement based on the thermographic analysis of the mill.
WEAR PLATES FOR AGITOR MILLS
Plate-shaped wear elements for milling means, in particular of agitator mills, having at least one inclined surface area, kits employing them, their uses and methods using them.
PULVERIZATION POT STRUCTURE OF KITCHEN WASTE PULVERIZATION APPARATUS
A pulverization pot structure is provided for a kitchen waste pulverization apparatus and includes a pulverization pot, a stirrer mechanism, and two cutter holder mechanisms. The stirrer mechanism is arranged in the pulverization pot and driven by a pre-arranged drive motor device to rotate. The two cutter holder mechanisms are movably arranged in the pulverization pot and each includes a cutter holder having a plurality of mounting portions arranged in a stepped form and each receiving a cutter to fasten thereto. The cutter holder is connected to a connection arm, which is fit, in a removable manner, in the pulverization pot. Lifting upward the connection arms connected to the cutter holders can simultaneously detach and remove the cutter holders out of the pulverization pot, and loosening the fastener elements of the cutters allows the cutters to be removed from the mounting portions of the cutter holders.
