Systems and methods for generating damped electromagnetically actuated planar motion for audio-frequency vibrations
A vibration module for applying vibrational tractions to a wearer's skin is presented. Use of the vibration module in headphones is illustrated for providing tactile sensations of low frequency for music, for massage, and for electrical recording and stimulation of the wearer. Damped, planar, electromagnetically-actuated vibration modules of the moving magnet type are presented in theory and reduced to practice, and shown to provide a substantially uniform frequency response over the range 40-200 Hz with a minimum of unwanted audio.

Pulmonary expansion therapy (PXT) devices
A pulmonary expansion therapy (PXT) device may be a handheld device that covers specific lung fields and may generate negative pressure fields locally. The device also may provide vibratory/percussion therapy for airway clearance. The PXT may generate a localized negative pressure field non-invasively to the exterior of the chest wall, thereby increasing the functional residual capacity in underlying lung fields. As a result, increased ventilation and perfusion to the targeted internal lung field may be achieved by creating a decrease in the external barometric pressure relative to the more positive intrinsic airway pressures. The PXT device also may improve lung compliance by enabling a medical professional to grab and elevate the chest wall to compensate for the dysfunction of the respiratory musculature responsible for lifting the chest wall. In some embodiments, once a targeted functional residual capacity (FRC) has been established, vibration or percussion may be applied.
Microdermabrasion systems and related technologies
Skin treatment systems, handpieces, suction wands, and methods of treatment are disclosed herein. A skin treatment system includes a treatment handpiece with removable tips, a console unit, and a suction assembly. The console unit can have a pressurization device configured to be fluidically coupled to the suction assembly. The suction assembly is configured to hold a subject's skin while the treatment handpiece moves along the epidermis. The tips can replaced any number of times to perform during a treatment session.
THERAPEUTIC DEVICE FOR TREATMENT OF CONDITIONS RELATING TO THE SINUSES, NASAL CAVITIES, EAR, NOSE AND THROAT
A rechargeable therapeutic system for treating conditions of a user's nasal cavities, sinuses or ear canals includes a therapeutic device having a housing that includes an inlet that allows air to enter the therapeutic device. An acoustic vibrator located within the housing provides an acoustic vibration to the user, and a power supply located within the housing provides power to the acoustic vibrator. A mask is connected to the housing and configured to be applied around the nose of the user. A valve of the mask is configured to allow the user to breathe through the inlet. The mask further includes a diaphragm and a nasal cavity in which the user's nose is located when the mask is applied around the nose of the user. A recharging station is configured to provide a charging current to the power supply.

STIMULATION DEVICE
Presented is a device for stimulating the male genitalia. The device comprises an elasticated ring configured to encircle a penis. The elasticated ring houses: an electrical power source; a first electrically-powered vibratory part in a top end portion of the ring; a second electrically-powered vibratory part in a bottom end portion of the ring, the top end portion of the ring being opposite the bottom end portion of the ring; and electrical connection means electrically connecting the first and second vibratory parts to the electrical power source. The electrical connection means are configured to accommodate expansion of the elasticated ring.
