A sexual stimulation method which may comprise a plurality of light sources for photostimulation of the vagina; one or more vibrators for mechanical stimulation of an area of the vagina; a handle; a controller and programmable memory for containing non-transitory instructions for modes of operation and driving the light sources and vibrators of the invention; a vaginal finger; a handle for ease of use; a keypad for user entry of commands; and a charging or programming port. The invention may also comprise sensors that sense physiologic parameters of a user and adjust sexual stimulation parameters to achieve a desired sexual stimulation effect. Blood oxygen level, temperature, pulse rate and muscle electrical activity may be sensed. The invention also may comprise a flexible covering that provides smooth sliding engagement with an area of the vagina of a user.

Respiratory sound analysis for lung health assessment

A respiratory acoustic analysis system for sensing and analyzing respiratory sounds of a patient may include a High Frequency Chest Wall Oscillation (HFCWO) vest, at least one sensor coupled with the HFCWO vest, and an algorithm stored in a processor for processing sensed data from the at least one acoustic sensor to provide processed data describing the respiratory sounds of the patient, in a form that can be used by a physician or other user.

Massage device and method of use

A massage device that includes a housing, an electrical input, a motor, a switch in electrical communication with the electrical input and the motor and configured to selectively provide power from the electrical input to the motor, an actuated output operatively connected to the motor and configured to reciprocate in response to activation of the motor, and a treatment structure operatively connected to a distal end of the actuated output. The actuated output is configured to reciprocate the treatment structure at a frequency of between about 15 Hz and about 100 Hz, and at an amplitude of between about 0.15 and about 1.0 inches. The combination of amplitude and frequency provides efficient reciprocation of the treatment structure such that the treatment structure provides therapeutically beneficial treatment to a targeted muscle of a user.

Percussive adjusting instrument

A percussive adjusting instrument is provided which includes a percussive instrument head and a traversing arm that couples to the percussive instrument head. The percussive instrument head is movable with respect to the traversing arm. A vertical arm supports the traversing arm. The vertical arm also pivots the traversing arm and the percussive instrument head about an axis. A pivot assembly allows movement of the vertical arm and the percussive instrument head.

Health promoting apparatus

A health promoting apparatus to benefit health of a user based on medical factors underlying moderate exercise, comprises: an oscillation generator configured to oscillate a head of the user in a vertical direction or an anteroposterior direction; and an oscillation controller connected to the oscillation generator, and configured to control the oscillation generated by the oscillation generator. The oscillation controller is configured to control the oscillation generator to apply a shear stress to cells in a brain of the user by moving interstitial fluid in the brain, in order to promote the health of the user.

A percussive massage appliance has a general Y-shape, with first and second handle portions being suitable for being held by first and second hands, respectively, of a user, with the percussive massage head reciprocating along an axis that lies in a major arc defined by the two handle portions. One use for the device is so that a user can grip the device with both hands while delivering a percussive massage to his own lower back muscles. The device has a rotation mechanism such that the user can rotate the reciprocation axis through an arc of about 120 degrees relative to the handles, and an extension handle mates with one of the handle portions, providing great versatility to the user.

Percussive massage device with force meter

A percussive massage device with a force meter that includes a housing, an electrical source, a motor positioned in the housing, a switch for activating the motor, and a controller configured to obtain a voltage of the motor, generate a lookup table correlating voltage to force applied by the percussive massage device, and display a force magnitude corresponding to the obtained voltage using the lookup table.

Stimulation device having a pressure field stimulator and a roller massager

Embodiments of the invention relate to a device including a pressure field stimulator and a roller massager. The pressure field stimulator has a cup and a driver, where the driver is configured to vary a volume of the cup. The roller massager comprises a flexible sheath and a roller disposed adjacent the flexible sheath. In some embodiments, an enclosure is disposed around the roller where the enclosure includes an opening through which the roller protrudes. In some embodiments, the roller is disposed on a threaded shaft, mechanically coupled to a motor, within the enclosure. The sheath is tightly bound to the enclosure such that the roller presses on the sheath.
