A drumming device for delivering a repetitive percussive strike to muscles below a skin surface comprises a main housing enclosing an electric motor with a shaft having a fixed rotational speed, a drive pulley, a toothed belt encircling the drive pulley and a driven pulley with an integral cam mounted on the pulley such that the rotating shaft causes the driven pulley to rotate at a predetermined number of cycles per second, the assembly causing a repetitive, reciprocal movement of a plunger body a fixed distance and at 16.6 cycles/sec, the plunger movable in a downward direction following contact with the cam, such that the plunger reciprocates within the housing when the cam member contacts the plunger causing the plunger shaft to move laterally outward. When the massaging device is properly position in contact with the skin the moving plunger causes muscle spindles to vibrate at their resonant frequency.

Respiratory treatment device

A respiratory treatment device can include a removable cup portion. The cup portion can be removably couple to a weighted head. The weighted head can be connected to a first end of a shaft. A second end of the shaft can be connected to a handle. A center of gravity of the device along a length of the device can be modified by increasing or decreasing the weight of the handle and/or of the weighted head. A user of the treatment device can tap a patient with the cup portion of the device. The weighted head can increase deflection in shaft of the device during use.

METHODS AND DEVICES FOR TISSUE TREATMENT USING MECHANICAL STIMULATION AND ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELD
20190030356 · 2019-01-31 ·

Devices and methods for tissue treatment produce a mechanical stimulation therapy and electromagnetic field therapy. The mechanical stimulation therapy provides stimulation of blood circulation and stimulates treated cells. The electromagnetic field enables thermal treatment of tissue. Combination of both therapies improves soft tissue treatment, mainly connective tissue in the skin area and fat reduction.

Method of Conditioning a Living Body to Respond Appropriately to Stimuli
20190030279 · 2019-01-31 ·

A method of conditioning a living body of a patient to associate the unconditioned stimulus (US) of decreased sympathetic nerve activity (SNA) with the conditioned stimulus (CS) or offending agent to cease or reduce defensive reactions or symptoms. The US involves non-invasive, mechanical stimulation of the sympathetic ganglia, which is paired with the offending stimuli or representation of the offending stimuli to modify pathologically conditioned reflexes of various systems involved in a reaction. In addition, conditions are treated by using digital representations, preferably provided via a computer, to represent the offending stimulus in order to engage the multimodal functioning of the brain. Sensory stimulation is used in conjunction with the various modalities of stimuli to condition the body to respond more appropriately to the stimulus.

TREATMENT ELEMENT ATTACHMENT SYSTEM

A treatment assembly for securing a treatment member to a shaft that includes the treatment member and a female attachment member. The treatment member defines a longitudinal axis, and has a distal end and a proximal end. The proximal end includes an attachment recess defined therein. The female attachment member has a distal end, a proximal end, and a shaft recess defined in the proximal end. The female attachment member is secured in the attachment recess of the treatment member. The shaft recess is defined by an interior surface that includes a first flat surface. The interior surface includes a first detent defined therein. When the shaft is received in the shaft recess, the first flat surface is operatively engaged with a first opposing flat surface on a male attachment member and a first ball is biased into the first detent.

ATTACHMENT SYSTEM FOR A PLURALITY OF TREATMENT MEMBERS

An adapter assembly for use with a reciprocating treatment device that includes a main body portion having at least a first top male attachment member or a first top female attachment member on a top thereof and at least first and second bottom male attachment members or first and second bottom female attachment members on a bottom thereof.

MASSAGE MACHINE

In the case of adopting a massage mechanism which is capable of mechanically treating a treatment region ranging from buttocks to thighs, it is ensured to prevent a user from feeling a discomfort feeling at a time of seating on a seat. A massage machine includes a seat massage mechanism which is provided inside a seat and performs a massage of a treatment region ranging from buttocks to thighs (treatment region including at least buttocks) of a user seating on the seat, and in this massage machine, a guide is arranged along a front and rear direction inside the seat allowing the seat massage mechanism to be movable in the front and rear direction.

Percussive Adjusting Instrument

A percussive adjusting instrument is provided which includes a percussive instrument head and a traversing arm that couples to the percussive instrument head. The percussive instrument head is movable with respect to the traversing arm. A vertical arm supports the traversing arm. The vertical arm also pivots the traversing arm and the percussive instrument head about an axis. A pivot assembly allows movement of the vertical arm and the percussive instrument head.
