DEVICE FOR DELIVERY OF RESONANT FREQUENCIES TO TREATED MUSCLES
20170156974 · 2017-06-08 ·

A drumming device for delivering a repetitive percussive strike to muscles below a skin surface comprises a main housing enclosing an electric motor with a shaft having a fixed rotational speed, a drive pulley, a toothed belt encircling the drive pulley and a driven pulley with an integral cam mounted on said pulley such that the rotating shaft causes the driven pulley to rotate at a predetermined number of cycles per second, the assembly causing a repetitive, reciprocal movement of a plunger body a fixed distance and at 16.6 cycles/sec, said plunger movable in a downward direction following contact with the cam, such that the plunger reciprocates within said housing when said cam member contacts the plunger causing the plunger shaft to move laterally outward. When the massaging device is properly position in contact with the skin the moving plunger causes muscle spindles to vibrate at their resonant frequency.

PERCUSSIVE MASSAGE DEVICE WITH FORCE METER

A percussive massage device with a force meter that includes a housing, an electrical source, a motor positioned in the housing, a switch for activating the motor, and a controller configured to obtain a voltage of the motor, generate a lookup table correlating voltage to force applied by the percussive massage device, and display a force magnitude corresponding to the obtained voltage using the lookup table.

METHOD FOR TRANSMITTING AND RECEIVING DATA CHANNEL IN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM AND APPARATUS FOR THE SAME

Disclosed are methods and apparatuses for transmitting and receiving data channels in a communication system. An operation method of a terminal in a communication system may comprise receiving, from a base station, resource allocation information of a plurality of physical uplink shared channels (PUSCHs) used for repetitive transmission of a same transport block (TB); identifying a position of each of the plurality of PUSCHs in a time domain based on the resource allocation information; and repeatedly transmitting the same TB to the base station at the position of each of the plurality of PUSCHs. Therefore, performance of the communication system can be improved.

WALL MOUNTED BACK TREATMENT APPARATUS

A back treatment assembly for providing a surface for treating a user's back, such as by facilitating scrubbing, scratching, massaging, or heat treating the back. includes a frame comprising a rear wall, a first lateral wall, and a second lateral wall. The rear wall is coupled to and extends between the first and second lateral walls, and each of the first and second lateral walls extends forwardly from the rear wall. A back engagement member is mounted to the frame and extends between the first and second lateral walls. The back engagement member is configured to abut a back of a user.

FLEXIBLE END EFFECTORS WITH AN APERTURE
20250049629 · 2025-02-13 ·

Systems, apparatuses, and methods for end effectors having an aperture are disclosed. An end effector may be driven by a reciprocating driver that drives the end effector in a reciprocating manner. The end effector may have an aperture therethrough and may be formed from a flexible high rebound material. When driven, the end effector may transfer energy from the reciprocating driver to a target treatment area on a recipient for therapeutic purposes. Energy may pass from the reciprocating driver and be temporarily stored within the end effector before being released and imparted to the target treatment area. The end effector may contract about the aperture and rebound to deliver the energy.

A system to provide physical therapy in the form of heating, cooling and/or percussion, comprising: a device that contains a battery, a motor, and a switch to turn the device on or off or put the device in heating mode or put the device in cooling mode or put the device in percussion mode; wherein the device contains a motor and a pushing rod that supply the movement that results in percussion of a removable heating/cooling attachment and a removable percussion attachment; wherein the front of the device connects to the removable heating/cooling attachment that contains an electronic component to control heating or cooling and a cooling fan; wherein the removable heating/cooling attachment can be used for heating or cooling; wherein a housing shell for the heating/cooling attachment is made of plastic, foam, or metal, or any combination of plastic, foam and metal; wherein the front part of the heating/cooling attachment is made of metal that has the capability to be in contact with human skin in order to provide either heating or cooling at fixed or adjusted degrees that are optimal for physical therapy and/or blood circulation; wherein the removable heating/cooling attachment can be replaced by the removable percussion attachment that is used for percussion; wherein the removable percussion attachment can be placed on the skin of a user in order to provide percussion at fixed or adjusted speeds that are optimal for physical therapy.

Methods and devices for tissue treatment using mechanical stimulation and electromagnetic field

Devices and methods for tissue treatment produce a mechanical stimulation therapy and electromagnetic field therapy. The mechanical stimulation therapy provides stimulation of blood circulation and stimulates treated cells. The electromagnetic field enables thermal treatment of tissue. Combination of both therapies improves soft tissue treatment, mainly connective tissue in the skin area and fat reduction.
