Personal Massage Apparatus
Disclosed are various embodiments for implementing and creating a customizable artificial hand massage apparatus configured to simulate actual hand movements associated with a human user. The customizable artificial hand massage apparatus may also be configured to execute a massage application. The massage application may be executed to store information associated with the user of the customizable artificial hand massage apparatus, detect sounds, detect motion, determine an amount of gas expelled from the user of the customizable artificial hand massage apparatus, determine the number of times an infant burps, detects how far an object or person is located with respect to the customizable artificial hand massage apparatus, and transfer information to a separate control application.
MASSAGER AND HANDLE FOR A MASSAGER
A handle structure for a hand-held massager, and the massager itself, which utilizes what is referred to as a Z-shape. Specifically, the system provides for a generally linear main body with the massage head generally arranged at a generally right angle to the main body at or toward one of the two ends and will typically be close to the main body with little lateral extension except the physical head itself. At the opposing end, there will be a tail which acts as a secondary handle. The tail may serve to hold a removable battery pack or an internal battery or transformer and will also extend generally perpendicularly from the main body in the generally opposing direction to the massage head.
A PORTABLE APPARATUS TO DELIVER PERCUSSION AND VIBRATIONS TO A PULMONARY REGION OF A PATIENT
A portable apparatus to deliver percussion and vibrations to a pulmonary region of a patient is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a support means (110) and at least one percussion device (100). The support means (110) includes at least one portion to receive and hold the percussion device (100). The percussion device (100) includes a casing (102) having at least one actuator (104, 106) operatively coupled to power at least one contact head (108) for delivering percussion and vibrations to the patient. The contact head (108) is operable to compress the chest to a depth in the range of 1 mm to 10 mm at a frequency within the range of 1.0 Hz to 16.67 Hz and with a force within the range of 0.05 to 3 kilogram-force (kgf) or 0.4903325-29.41995 newton (N). The portable apparatus is configurable as a wearable or handheld apparatus.
Method for providing mental massage to help treat anxiety and depression, and massage device
Disclosed are a method and a device for providing a mental massage to help treat anxiety and depression. According to one embodiment of the present disclosure, a massage device for providing a mental massage to help treat anxiety and depression is disclosed, the device including: a mental state determination unit for determining a mental state on the basis of a biosignal of a user; a mental massage pattern determination unit for determining a mental massage pattern on the basis of the determined mental state; and a mental massage provision unit for providing a massage on the basis of the mental massage pattern.
CONCAVE ANGULATED POSITIONING DEVICE
A positioning device which includes a new and unique concave angulated device for at least one of, but not limited to, stretching, supporting, bracing, rehabilitating, positioning, massaging, kneading, scratching, or exercising a body of a user. The device's new concave angulated and more user friendly surface addresses the need for a more anatomically responsive body positioning device for achieving improved results relative to, among other things, the above uses. This device includes multiple embodiments, which also may comprise various possible configurations, that enable the device to also function as a fulcrum or lever and/or be capable of uniquely dispersing a load during the interaction between the user and the device.
SYSTEMS, METHODS, AND DEVICES FOR PERCUSSIVE MASSAGE THERAPY
A massage head for a percussive therapy device includes a base. The base is configured to connect a massage attachment to a reciprocating shaft of a percussive therapy device. The massage head also includes an end portion that includes a heater. The massage head also includes a medial portion located between the base and the end portion. The medial portion is configured to resiliently bias the end portion away from the base.
SYSTEMS, METHODS, AND DEVICES FOR PERCUSSIVE MASSAGE THERAPY
A percussive therapy device includes a housing, a motor, a reciprocation shaft coupled to the motor and configured to reciprocate when the motor is active, an infrared radiation emitter contained in the housing, and a fan. The housing includes a window including a surface. The fan is configured to direct air along an air flow path, and a portion of the air flow path extends along the surface of the window.
SYSTEMS, METHODS, AND DEVICES FOR PERCUSSIVE MASSAGE THERAPY
A percussive massage device includes a housing. The housing defines a handle portion and a corner where the handle portion meets another portion of the housing. The percussive massage device also includes a motor contained within the housing, a reciprocation shaft coupled to the motor and configured to reciprocate when the motor is active, and a heart rate sensor located at the corner.
