Relating to grinding mills
A liner segment (10) for a rotary ore grinding mill (1) is disclosed. The mill has a horizontal mill axis (25), and an interior having a cylindrical liner (6) with a frusto-conical end (8) from which ground ore slurry exits the mill. Each segment includes a part collar (12) which protrudes inwardly into the interior. The collar has a first generally cylindrical surface (13) co-axial with the mill axis and a second flange surface forming a substantially annular flange (14) of greater radius than the cylindrical surface, surrounding an interior end of the cylindrical surface, and being connected to the cylindrical surface. Each segment has a vane (21) extending radially outwardly of the first cylindrical surface and projecting into the interior. The vane impedes the exit from said mill of unground ore particles and grinding media, and permits the exit of the slurry. A method is also disclosed.

Method and apparatus for recycling asphalt milings
Apparatus and method for recycling asphalt millings containing bitumen and stone. A milling tube is provided having an outer tube and an inner tube axially aligned with and substantially contained within the outer tube, the inner tube having a diameter less that a diameter of the outer tube to thus define a mixing space between the inner and outer tubes. At least one of the inner and outer tubes is adapted to rotate relative to the other. An inlet is provided to the mixing space to receive the asphalt millings. A plurality of inner tube projections project radially outward from a surface of the inner tube toward the outer tube, and a plurality of outer tube projections project radially inward from a surface of the outer tube toward the inner tube. The milling tube facilitates the separation of the asphalt millings into bitumen and stone as one of the inner and outer tubes rotates relative to the other. Preferably, at least one of the outer and inner tubes contains an abrasive coating on a surface thereof, the inner tube projections and outer tube projections are comprised of wire rope, and an inlet is provided in the outer tube through which cold air can be applied to the mixing space.
METHOD FOR MAKING A SHELL PLATE
A method for making a shell plate that is mountable to a shell of a grinding mill for grinding ore, said shell plate includes a shell plate body having a first portion including a fixing surface for fixing the shell plate body to the shell and a second portion including a wear surface facing toward interior of the grinding mill, said first portion and said second portion forming a continuous shell plate body, the second portion includes polyurethane such that the wear surface is made of polyurethane.
3-in-1 attachment system for liner plates of mills used to grind minerals
The present invention consists in a 3-in-1 fastening system for shells of mill liners used for grinding minerals allowing the quick installation and removal in one step by using conventional tools. The system comprises a metal washer (1), a fastening element (2, 200) and a rubber washer (5), being concentrically joined to be coupled and thereby securing the shell of a mill, wherein the metal washer (1) has one or more inner openings (3) receiving one or more retaining members (4) to retain the fastening element (2, 200) inside said metal washer (1).
