Method for treating organic erectile dysfunction
In a method of treating erectile dysfunction in a patient, a predetermined course of external counter-pulsation treatment is applied to a lower body portion of the patient. After the predetermined course of external counter-pulsation treatment is applied, a predetermined course of low intensity shockwave treatment is applied to a penile area of the patient. After the course of low intensity shockwave treatment, a predetermined course of carboxy therapy is applied to a corpora cavernosa of the patient.
Handheld acoustic shock wave or pressure pulse application device and methods of use
A handheld acoustic shock wave or pressure pulse applicator device has a body structure and an applicator head. The body structure has a proximal end and a distal end with a longitudinal axis extending between the ends. The applicator head is at the distal end. the head emits pressure pulses or shock waves at an inclined angle relative to the longitudinal axis of the body structure. The applicator head has a balloon or lens or membrane through which the emitted pressure pulses or shock waves pass. The lens or membrane is configured to be coupled directly or indirectly to an exposed soft tissue surface of a palate inside a patient's mouth to direct emitted pressure pulses or shock waves to the brain. The applicator device can be configured with the inclined obtuse angle fixed between 150 degrees and 90 degrees or can be adjustable between 180 degrees and 90 degrees.
Motor and piston assembly for percussive massage device
A self-contained reciprocation mechanism is coupleable within an enclosure of a percussive massage device and is configured to receive an applicator head for stimulating a user's muscles. The self-contained reciprocation mechanism includes a spatial positioning bracket, a semi-cylindrical bracket, a piston, a motor, a crank, and a reciprocation linkage. The spatial positioning bracket is configured to receive the other interconnected components of the self-contained reciprocation mechanism and position said components relative to each other at close predetermined tolerances to assure that the interconnected components are properly positioned to provide consistent operating characteristics. The self-contained reciprocation mechanism is coupled within the enclosure using screws which extend through mounting tabs of the spatial positioning bracket.
PERSONAL USE EXTRACORPOREAL LOW INTENSITY ACOUSTIC OR SHOCK WAVE MECHANICAL TIP AND METHODS OF USE
A treatment device includes a housing having a longitudinal axis extending between a proximal end and a distal end, a striking element disposed within the housing and moveable along the longitudinal axis, a tip disposed adjacent the distal end, and a nose cone disposed about at least a portion of the tip, the tip being moveable within the nose cone.
DRUG DELIVERY SYSTEM AND METHOD USING SHOCK WAVES
Acoustic pressure shock waves are applied to a drug delivery structure implanted in tissue of a human or animal body and including one or more pouches that contain at least one drug in fluid form that is releasable from the drug delivery structure when targeted by the acoustic pressure shock waves.
SHOCK WAVE APPLICATOR WITH VARIABLE PENETRATION DEPTH
An extracorporeal pressure shock wave device includes a hinge providing a pivotable axis about which a shock wave applicator rotates to provide for adjusting the depth within a targeted body that a shock wave focal volume is produced from the applicator.
RAPID PULSE ELECTROHYDRAULIC (EH) SHOCKWAVE GENERATOR APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR MEDICAL AND COSMETIC TREATMENTS
Apparatuses and methods for electrohydraulic generation of shockwaves at a rate of between 10 Hz and 5 MHz, and/or that permit a user to view a region of a patient comprising target cells during application of generated shockwaves to the region. Methods of applying electro-hydraulically generated shockwaves to target tissues (e.g., for reducing the appearance of tattoos, treatment or reduction of certain conditions and/or maladies).
DEVICE FOR THE TRANSFORMATION OF A BALLISTIC PRESSURE WAVE INTO A DEFOCALISED ACOUSTIC SHOCK WAVE
A device (5) it is provided for cooperating with a handpiece (1) of a ballistic waves generating system for the treatment of a portion of tissue (4) of a patient, the handpiece (5) comprising a supporting member (30) on top of which an end member (3) it is arranged to come into contact with the said portion of tissue (4) of the patient, the device (5) it is characterized in that it comprises supporting means (50) of terminal means (51), said supporting means (50) being adapted to be mounted onto said supporting member (30), and said terminal means (51) being able to come into contact with the tissue portion (4) of the patient.
PERSONAL USE EXTRACORPOREAL LOW INTENSITY SHOCK WAVE DEVICE ENHANCED USER FEATURES AND FUNCTIONS
A device which utilizes low intensity extracorporeal shock therapy for purposes of treating soft tissue damage, cellulite reduction, or erectile dysfunction, to permit a simple, inexpensive, robust, home use solution which permits self-applied treatment for various parts of the user's body with a form factor, display, information, guidance, tutorials and training, marketing communication and purchase opportunities, viewing angle, timers, annunciators, sound attenuation, and payment options which provide an untrained amateur user with all tools and guidance necessary to properly, effectively, safely and affordably self-administer treatments.
SYSTEMS FOR PROMOTING SEXUAL WELL-BEING IN MALES
Systems and methods for promoting sexual well-being in males and in some cases for treating erectile dysfunction and, more particularly, to such systems that use shock waves delivered to tissue.
