ORGANIC WASTE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

A liquification system for an organic waste management system includes a hopper that is oriented vertically such that organic waste added to the hopper is biased by gravity toward a bottom end of the hopper; an agitator that is disposed within the hopper and is movable in a first rotational direction that moves organic waste downward and in a second rotational direction that moves organic waste upward; a motor configured to selectively move the agitator in the first and second rotational directions under control of the controller; and a side grinding and drainage system disposed toward the bottom end of the hopper and preferably on a tapered portion of the hopper for grinding and liquefying organic waste.

INTEGRATED UNDER SINK COMPOSTING SYSTEM

A composting machine that is positioned within a cabinet under a kitchen sink includes a macerator assembly comprising a plurality of macerator blades for shredding food waste. An extrusion assembly is positioned below the macerator assembly and includes a grinding barrel for receiving the food waste from the macerator assembly and an auger for extruding the food waste through an extrusion plate into a dryer assembly. The dryer assembly includes a compost chamber containing a mixing blade, a fan, and a heating element for generating compost from the food waste.

The invention relates to the field of kitchen appliances and discloses a food waste disposer, the food waste disposer has a switching component arranged to a discharge outlet of the food waste disposer, the switching component has a first pipe; a second pipe; a first baffle that flips in an anti-gravity direction along a discharge direction to connect or isolate a discharge outlet and a sewer pipe; a first sealing ring; and a limit block to prevent the first baffle from flipping. The invention also discloses an integrated sink and integrated cabinet both have the food waste disposer with a switching component arranged to a discharge outlet of the food waste disposer.

USER-REMOVABLE, ELECTRICALLY HEATED, AND MECHANICALLY ACTUATED BUCKET UNIT FOR ORGANIC MATTER PROCESSING APPARATUS

Embodiments disclosed herein provide a bucket assembly and method of use thereof. The bucket assembly is a relatively lightweight and removable apparatus that can fracture cut, paddle, and heat contents contained therein. The bucket assembly can include a housing that has a curved metal plate and blade array attached thereto. A cut and paddle assembly can rotate within the housing and interface with the blade array to fracture cut contents contained therein. The cut and paddle assembly is also operative to mix the contents to ensure full dispersal within the housing. A flexible heater array is attached to and operative to heat the curved metal plate. The combination of the fracture cutting, paddling, and heating can convert organic matter to a ground and selectively desiccated product.

FOOD WASTE DISPOSER

A food waste disposer including a housing, a container disposed inside the housing and provided to accommodate food waste, an exhaust duct communicating with the container and provided to allow exhaust gas generated in the container to flow therein, a filter device including a catalytic filter part configured to filter the exhaust gas passed through the exhaust duct, and a deodorizing filter part configured to filter the exhaust gas passed through the catalytic filter part and communicating with an outside of the housing, and a condensation chamber configured to remove moisture in the exhaust gas flowing from the exhaust duct into the catalytic filter part of the filter device.

ORGANIC MATTER PROCESSING APPARATUS FOR PROMOTING NET REDUCTION OF METHANE AND OTHER GREENHOUSE GAS EMISSIONS

Embodiments disclosed herein provide an organic matter processing apparatus and method for the use thereof to convert organic matter into a ground and desiccated product. This can be accomplished using a bucket assembly that can grind, paddle, and heat organic matter contained therein. An air treatment system is provided to treat the air interacting with the organic matter.

Cutting blade assembly

A cutting blade assembly establishes a bidirectional and/or multifaceted scissor-type cutting action to efficiently and effectively process various types of debris encountered by the cutting blade assembly. The assembly includes a cutting plate and a cutting hub configured for relative rotation. A cutting slot is formed in the cutting plate and intersects the axial face to define a cutting edge at the intersection of the cutting slot and the axial face. The cutting hub has a cutting arm positioned adjacent to the axial face. When the cutting plate and the cutting hub undergo relative rotation, the cutting arm passes adjacent to the cutting edge to perform a scissor-type cutting action.

ORGANIC WASTE PROCESSING DEVICE AND METHOD

There is provided an organic waste processing device comprising: an organic matter-receiving container defining an organic matter-receiving chamber; a gas-propelling unit; a gas-plenum chamber in gas communication with the gas-propelling unit; and a grinding assembly at least partially contained in the organic matter-receiving chamber. The grinding assembly comprises a drive shaft and a rotatable blade assembly including a blade support sleeve mounted to the drive shaft and being engaged in rotation therewith. The rotatable blade assembly further includes at least one blade mounted to the blade support sleeve. An inner surface of the blade support sleeve is spaced-apart from an outer peripheral surface of the drive shaft to define a gas flow channel extending longitudinally into the griding assembly and providing gas communication between the gas-plenum chamber and the organic matter-receiving chamber.
