Wood grinding machine with vibration detection system and related methods
A wood grinding machine may have a vibration detection system including one or more vibration sensors. The vibration detection system may include a trip point representative of a maximum allowable level of vibration. If a vibration signal from the one or more vibration sensors exceeds the trip point, a trip protocol may be executed to automatically stop the grinding process. Related methods are also disclosed.
SHREDDER FOR COMMINUTING BULK MATERIAL
A shredder includes a shredder box having first and second opposite end walls, and first and second opposite side walls that extend between the first and second end walls. The shredder further includes a shredder rotor positioned within an interior of the shredder box, an access door that is pivotally moveable, and a control system for monitoring various parameters to operate the shredder. A side access region is defined between the first and second end walls when the access door is in the open position. The side access region provides access to the shredder rotor and includes an open region defined between the first and second end walls at the second side of the shredder. The open region has an open top which is free of obstructions extending between the first and second end walls.
A plant for shredding metal waste and a method for the use thereof
A plant for shredding metal waste, comprising at least one working chamber, means for shredding metal waste and motor means operatively connected to the shredding means. The plant further comprising sensor means operatively associated with the motor means and/or shredding means for monitoring at predetermined time intervals at least one working parameter connected to the wear thereof, and at least one data processing unit operatively connected to the sensor means. The data processing unit including: data storage means for storing for a predetermined period of time the values of said at least one working parameter detected by said sensor means and an an artificial intelligence software program so as to allow the plant manager to plan the maintenance of the motor means and/or shredding means.
Cooled motor for a paper shredder
A paper shredder motor cooling assembly having a paper shredder motor coupled to a fan shaft, an enclosure surrounding the paper shredder motor and having selected input and selected output vents to control airflow to the paper shredder motor, a fan coupled to the fan shaft, communicating with the selected input vents or the selected output vents; when the paper shredder motor is operating, the rotor shaft turns the fan to generate a differential air pressure between the selected input vents and the selected output vents, removing heat from the motor. A duty cycle of greater than 15 minutes is obtained. The fan can be coupled to the motor by speed increasing gearing, attached to the cutter blade assembly, such that the fan turns faster than the motor. The fan also can be attached to the motor shaft. An input fan and an output fan can be used.

METHOD AND PLANT FOR THE PROCESSING OF WASTE
A plant for the processing of waste includes an outer housing and a grinding cell, in which a grinding chamber is defined having at least one inlet opening for introducing the waste to be processed, and at least one outlet opening for discharging the material resulting from waste processing. The openings are associated with a corresponding closure element, adapted to isolate the grinding chamber from the outer environment. The outer housing defines therein a space receiving the grinding cell and integrally surrounds the grinding cell, and in which the space is accessible through at least one door.
MODULAR INDUSTRIAL REDUCING MACHINE AND METHOD FOR DISASSEMBLING AN INDUSTRIAL REDUCING MACHINE
A modular industrial reducing machine is provided. The reducing machine includes a removable cutting tray releasably coupled to a first and second axial endwalls in a base frame. Additionally, the removable cutting tray includes a plurality of non-rotating anvils designed to interact with a plurality of cutters during reducing operation to reduce material in the reducing compartment.
Handheld system and method for storing and grinding herbs
A handheld system and method for storing and grinding herbs—such as, but not limited to tobacco, marijuana and the like. The device having three main components: a first component being a two-part, hermetically sealed case allowing herbs to be stored therein; a second component being a crusher with axial star blades; and a third component being a finger wheel allowing a user to rotated said crusher thereby reducing herb clusters to a consistent aggregate according to a user's preference. The hermetically sealed case allowing a user to then store aggregated herbs therein. An object of the invention is to allow a user to crush and store herbs in a portable, sealed container.
