A roof removal machine may include an auger assembly at least a first helical auger flight coupled to a central axle, and a plurality of blades coupled to an outer edge of the auger flight. A motor is operably coupled to the auger assembly and configured to rotate the auger assembly about the axle in at least a first direction of rotation. The blade edge of each of the blades is oriented transverse to the first direction of rotation. In some examples, a second helical auger flight is also coupled to the central axle, and the two auger flights may be oppositely-handed with respect to each other, such that roof debris is moved toward a central extraction port.

A guide chute is attached to the deck, and is disposed over the opening. The guide chute includes a feed system. The feed system includes a first roller, and a reactionary member operable to react against the first roller to secure a log therebetween. The first roller and the reactionary member cooperate together to grasp and controllably feed the log through the opening. The first roller or the reactionary member may be moveable relative to the other, to adjust a throat distance therebetween. An anvil may be disposed at a rearward edge of the opening, and extend downward to define a chip cutting height between the anvil and the cutting disk.

The stump grinder includes a chassis operably engaged with the vehicle at one of the first end and the second end. The stump grinder also includes a body operably engaged with the chassis and a grinder wheel operably engaged with the body and partially disposed outside of the body from the vehicle. The stump grinder also includes a drive assembly operably engaged with the grinder wheel and the body. The grinder wheel of the stump grinder is configured to rotate in a plane that is orthogonal to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle.

A stump grinding system that includes a vehicle and a stump grinder adapted to engage with the vehicle. The vehicle has a first end, a second end opposite to the first end, and a longitudinal axis defined therebetween. The stump grinder includes a chassis operably engaged with the vehicle at one of the first end and the second end. The stump grinder also includes a body operably engaged with the chassis and a grinder wheel operably engaged with the body and partially disposed outside of the body from the vehicle. The stump grinder also includes a drive assembly operably engaged with the grinder wheel and the body. The grinder wheel of the stump grinder is configured to rotate in a plane that is orthogonal to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle.
