Waste Management System
A waste management system for plastic or other material floating on the surface and in the subsurface of a body of water. A shredding device will reduce the size of the particles of waste. Ocean water is removed by a drying device. The dried waste material is frozen to a temperature at or below minus fifty degrees Fahrenheit, using liquid nitrogen or other suitable means. The frozen waste material is then pulverized and ground into a powder. The powder may then be sprayed into a gas-filled chamber and heated. Temperature, pressure and humidity are maintained within the chamber for more than one minute. Microwave or other radiation and catalysts may be used to enhance the process of extraction. The processed material is then removed from the chamber. Carbon may be recycled or used as fuel by the ship. Water may be used by the ship or returned to the ocean.
MILLING OF FLEX FOIL WITH TWO CONDUCTIVE LAYERS FROM BOTH SIDES
A method for milling flex foil includes providing a web (14) of flex foil including a substrate; a first conductive layer arranged on one surface of the substrate; a second conductive layer arranged on an opposite surface of the substrate; a first insulating layer arranged adjacent to the first conductive layer; and a second insulating layer arranged adjacent to the second conductive layer. The method includes dry milling one side of the web using a milling wheel (20-1) and a first cliche pattern (25-1) (including a rotating drum (24-1) and a flexible substrate (26-1)) including raised portions and non-raised portions to selectively remove at least one of the first conductive layer and the first insulating layer. The method includes dry milling an opposite side of the web using a milling wheel (20-2) and a second cliche pattern (25-2) including upper raised portions, lower raised portions and non-raised portions to selectively remove the second insulating layer.

Automated method and device for trimming plants
Embodiments of the present invention pertain to a plant trimming machine. Plants are placed in a tumbler. As the tumbler rotates, leaves are sucked through the tumbler by a vacuum assembly and cut by at least one rotatable blade adjacent to the tumbler. The tumbler and blade are housed in separate cartridges so that they can be easily removed and inserted. Thereby, it is relatively easy to clean and replace a tumbler or blade with minimal downtime to the machine.

DEDICATED DEVICE FOR SHATTERING PHENOLICS WITH MECHANOCHEMICAL SYNTHESIS AND SHATTERING METHOD THEREOF
A dedicated device for shattering phenolics with mechanochemical synthesis and a shattering method thereof. The dedicated device includes a supporting frame, a primary shattering device, a secondary shattering device, a three-stage shattering device and an automatic regulating device. The primary shattering device includes a shattering box, a first motor, a first transmission rod, a plurality of tool frames, a plurality of blades, at least one screen mesh, a plurality of fixed cutters and a guide hopper. The secondary shattering device includes a first roller, a second roller, a second transmission rod and a set of helical gears. The three-stage shattering device includes a second motor, a set of tapered blade sets and a plurality of strain sensors. This realizes the regeneration of new mixed materials and the chemical properties of materials control of some micro changes such as material morphology.
PROCESS, APPARATUS, AND SYSTEM FOR RECOVERING MATERIALS FROM BATTERIES
A process for recovering materials from a black mass material obtained from lithium-ion batteries can include: i) conveying a black mass material as a black mass solid stream; ii) leaching the black mass solid stream to form a pregnant leach solution and residual solids; iii) separating the pregnant leach solution from the residual solids; iv) isolating a copper product from the pregnant leach solution; v) isolating an aluminum (Al) and/or iron (Fe) product from the pregnant leach solution; vi) isolating a manganese (Mn) product from the from the pregnant leach solution; vii) isolating a cobalt (Co) product from the from the pregnant leach solution; viii) isolating a nickel (Ni) product from the from the pregnant leach solution; ix) isolating a salt by-product from the pregnant leach solution; and x) isolating a lithium product the pregnant leach solution.

Animal bedding
Animal bedding is disclosed. The animal bedding comprises a juniper tree cut at ground level, the juniper tree having needles and a trunk. The juniper tree is naturally dried until the needles are brown, then ground using a screen that is 3 inches or less. The ground juniper tree is hammer milled and dust of 20 mesh minus is extracted from the hammer milled tree, which is then placed in a bagging machine and dust is vacuumed from the juniper tree. The juniper tree is then bagged.
