PORTABLE SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROCESSING WASTE TO BE PLACED IN LANDFILL
A portable system and method for processing waste to be solidified and placed in an active cell of a landfill. A portable pugmill is moveable adjacent an active cell of a landfill; and portable devices, which may be mounted on sleds or trailers, may be used for feeding the pugmill with waste to be solidified into a landfill-ready state. The waste may be fed to the pugmill without the need for long-term waste storage devices, and avoiding substantial delays between discharge of the waste from trucks to the pugmill-feeding steps.
Method for removing ink printed on plastic films
The present invention relates to a method for removing ink printed on a plastic film comprising various physical/chemical treatments. The main steps in the method are: conditioning the material, grinding, removing ink from the film, washing the film, recovering the cleaning solution, recovering the pigment and drying the film. As a result of the method, it is possible to obtain, on one hand, a plastic film free of ink and, on the other hand, the pigment. Said products may be reused in industry, thereby enhancing the value chain of the product.

CRYOGENIC GRINDING APPARATUS AND PROCESS
A cryogenic grinding apparatus is provided. The apparatus includes a material charge, a low-temperature embrittling device for embrittling the charged ground material by supplying liquid low-temperature gas, a mill for grinding the low-temperature embrittled ground material in an atmosphere containing the low-temperature gas, and a separating device. The separating device has a wind classifier, a removal device to remove the ground material from the mill-output volumetric flow, and a directing device to feed the removed ground material into a classifier-input volumetric flow and to discharge excess mill-output gas of the mill-output volumetric flow. In addition, a cryogenic grinding process is provided in which the ground material is removed from the volumetric flow, excess grinding gas is discharged, removed ground material is feed into a classifier-input volumetric flow of a wind classifier and a classifier-input volumetric flow is classified for separating off a classifier-output volumetric flow containing the fine material.

A cryogenic grinding apparatus is provided. BATTERY DECONSTRUCTION APPARATUS AND METHOD
Apparatus (10) for safe and effective shredding of batteries, including lithium-ion batteries, is disclosed. The system integrates a shredding subassembly (12), an auger/screw conveyor subassembly (14), a rotary screen subassembly (16), and an optional solvent recovery/recirculation subassembly (18). Valves/actuators (26, 28) can be coordinated such that a nitrogen blanket or a vacuum is maintained within the shredding assembly and/or the other subassemblies (16, 18). Shredded battery materials are transported to the rotary screen subassembly (16) via the auger-screw conveyor assembly (14) before being washed and split into solid and liquid sub-components.
