A solenoid valve includes: a magnetic force generating coil generating an electromagnetic force; a valve spool reciprocated depending on an electromagnetic force generated from the magnetic force generating coil; a holder having the valve spool inserted into a hollow portion of the holder and forming a plurality of ports opened and closed depending on the reciprocating motion of the valve spool; a foreign material collecting coil collecting a foreign material when power is applied to the magnetic force generating coil to serve as an electromagnet; and a foreign material outlet port formed in the holder and discharging the foreign material collected in the foreign material collecting coil when the supply of power to the foreign material collecting coil is released to outside.

A device and method is provided for separating associated ions within a gaseous fluid stream into a first population of positively-charged hydrated hydrogen ions and a second population of gaseous hydrated anions. The device employs a housing and spinning wheel within a vacuum chamber to expose a flow of associated ions to a combination of microwaves and magnetic energy within the vacuum to cause bifurcation of the associated ions into a first population of positively-charged hydrated hydrogen ions and a second population of gaseous hydrated anions which may be collected in reservoirs. The collected two populations can be further channeled through a transformer to electrically induce a force for locomotion or communication.

A dirt separator including a vessel having a separation container having a lateral container wall, a container bottom, and a container axis, which container has an inlet and an outlet as well as an interior, and having a particle separation chamber, which is disposed at the outlet of the separation container and stands in a fluid connection with the separation container, an inlet for supply of liquid into the vessel, and an outlet for discharge of the liquid out of the vessel. The dirt separator is configured in such a manner that liquid introduced into the separation container flows downward along the container wall in a cyclone-like movement, and then flows upward to the particle separation chamber within the liquid that flows downward in cyclone-like manner, and the dirt separator includes at least one particle separator, which is disposed in the particle separation chamber.

A heat exchange apparatus for removing magnetic particulates from a gas stream, including a rotating element basket having a regenerative heat exchanger and at least one magnetic element. A method of removing magnetic particulates from a gas stream, including heating the regenerative heat exchanger during a first portion of a cycle as a segment of the rotating element basket passes through a first zone wherein contact is made with a flue gas thereby accumulating any magnetic particulates as they are attached to the magnetic element. Then cleaning a portion of the magnetic element during a second portion of the cycle. And cooling the regenerative heat exchanger and simultaneously heating an inlet air stream during a third portion of the cycle as the segment of the rotating element basket passes through a third zone wherein fluidic contact is made with the air inlet stream.
