Beneficiating weighting agents
Beneficiating particulate additives by removing contaminants or minerals that impact the quality and specific gravity of the particulate additives may be achieved via dry solids separation technologies. For example, an air classifier, an electrostatic separator, and a combination thereof may be used to produce a beneficiated particulate additive comprising less than 40% of drill solids by weight of the beneficiated particulate additive.

Filter assembly for ventilation systems, decentralized living space ventilation system comprising a filter assembly of this type and ventilation unit
A ventilation unit for decentralised room ventilation systems, in which unit at least one reversible fan and a heat reservoir element are supplemented by an electrostatic precipitator for air purification. In addition, a filter assembly is provided for a ventilation system, in particular for a decentralised room ventilation system, having an air duct with an electrostatic precipitator through which an air stream to be purified is forced, with the precipitator extending over a predetermined section of the air duct. The filter assembly has, in the predetermined electrostatic-precipitator section of the air duct, at least one heat reservoir element impinged by the air stream, the electrostatic precipitator and the heat reservoir element thus being spatially restricted relative to one another.
CARBON FIBER CHARGING DEVICE AND ELECTRICAL APPLIANCE HAVING THE SAME
A carbon fiber charging device and an electrical appliance therefor are provided. The carbon fiber charging device includes a carbon fiber electrode configured to generate electrons and charge surrounding dust, a protective case configured to cover the carbon fiber electrode such that a foreign object having a size of a human finger is not able to contact the carbon fiber electrode, the protective case including a top wall facing a tip of the carbon fiber electrode and provided with a through hole and a side wall surrounding an outer circumferential surface of the carbon fiber electrode, and an electron generation stabilization device provided in the protective case and configured to allow the carbon fiber electrode to generate electrons stably.
SCANNING OPPOSED MIGRATION AEROSOL CLASSIFIER
An opposed migration classifier classifies particles suspended in a sample fluid that are passed through a classification channel defined by two permeable walls. Sample flow distribution input and output channels are located asymmetrically with respect to a center of the classification channel such that trajectories of the one or more particles in the sample fluid deviate from constant voltage operation trajectories. A cross-flow fluid enters the classification channel through a permeable wall and exits through the other permeable wall. An imposed field, created by a time varying filed imposed in a direction normal to the permeable walls, causes the particles to migrate in a direction opposite to that of the cross-flow fluid, such that the particles travel between the permeable walls. The particles in the sample are classified based on their mobility. The sample fluid enters and exists through or within a threshold distance of the permeable walls.
STANDING CHAIR
A standing chair comprises a main frame support assembly with a first frame support and a second frame support, at least two collapsible support arms with a first end and a second end, at least one bracket, at least one seat assembled to the collapsible support arms, a drive member positioned between right frame support and one collapsible support arm, another drive member positioned between left frame support and other collapsible support arm and a foot rest assembly with a pair of leg support bars. Right and left frame supports are parallelly connected and locked via a connecting means. The first ends of collapsible arms are moveably affixed to both right and left frame supports, whereas second ends are pivotally connected to a backrest support via fasteners. The two collapsible support arms are configured to automatically collapse and retract in accordance to sitting or standing mode of the standing chair.
Method for separating and collecting single aggregate from fumed silica and method for classifying shape of single aggregate
The present invention relates to a method for separating and collecting single aggregates from fumed silica, and a method for classifying a shape of the collected single aggregates, and more specifically, includes preparing a slurry in which fumed silica is dispersed in water; aerosolizing the slurry; and collecting single aggregates of the finned silica in the aerosol using the electric field.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR EXTRACTING AND SEPARATING BOTANICAL OILS WITHOUT THE USE OF SOLVENTS
A system and method for extracting and separating botanical oils and compounds from botanical material without the use of solvents, having a vaporizing section which is further coupled to a centrifugal electrostatic precipitator for collection and segregation. The vaporizing section receives the botanical material through which a temperature-controlled inert gas is passed to evaporate specific vaporization temperature oils or compounds from the botanical material. The extracted vapor passes to the centrifugal electrostatic precipitator where the oil or compound is reduced back to the liquid state and is collected and segregated. The oils having the lower vapor temperature are collected first and the remaining oils are collected by specific and progressive vaporization temperature control. In some examples, selected vaporized compounds are waste exhausted as vapor by bypassing the centrifugal electrostatic precipitator at specific known vapor temperatures, thereby eliminating potentially toxic or undesirable oils or compounds from being collected.
