A system for repelling mosquitoes near a spa (referred to herein as a Zika Mist System or ZMS) includes a string of misting devices interconnected in fluid communications for mounting on a spa tub structure in order to produce an insect-repelling, spa-water mist over the spa from chemically treated spa water taken from the spa. The ZMS includes a misting pump for delivering pressurized spa water from an outlet on the misting pump to the string of misting devices via an outlet line component of the ZMS; it also includes an input line for coupling an inlet of the misting pump in fluid communications with a water-holding portion of the spa (e.g., preferably doing so via a drain assembly on the spa). A mosquito-repelling spa includes a spa tub structure on which is mounted such a ZMS.

It is provided according to the disclosure that the device comprises at least two vessels to be filled with the mixture arranged one above the other in a vertical direction in tiers, where the vessels comprise the device for blowing air into the mixture to produce foam, where the vessels are open towards an outlet region such that the foam produced in the vessels is merged in the outlet region.

A method for treating water in a spa or a hot tub includes, for example, suspending a water treatment dispenser from an upper end of a filter cartridge disposed in a skimmer of the spa or the hot tub. The dispenser includes a water treatment material. A supply of water is passed from the spa or the hot tub into the skimmer and through the filter cartridge so that the dispenser suspended in the filtered water in the filter cartridge is operable to dispense the water treatment material from the dispenser, and a supply of treated filtered water from the filter cartridge is returned to the spa or the hot tub. A cover, for example, may be employed when the dispenser is not used.

A control box of a massage pool is provided and includes: a filtering water pump unit, including a filtering pump body, a filtering water inlet pipe connected between the massage pool and the filtering pump body, and a filtering output pipe. The control box further includes a massage pump unit, including a massage pump body, a massage inlet pipe connected between the massage pool and the massage pump body, and a massage output pipe. The control box further includes a water outlet pipe configured to output water to the massage pool, and a three-way connecting pipe fitting. The three-way connecting pipe fitting includes: a first branch pipe having a distal end connected to the filtering output pipe, a second branch pipe having a distal end connected to the massage output pipe, and a third branch pipe having a distal end connected to the water outlet pipe At least one valve is configured to alternately open and close a first flow path from the filtering output pipe through the first branch pipe.

A method for treating water in a spa or a hot tub includes, for example, suspending a water treatment dispenser from an upper end of a filter cartridge disposed in a skimmer of the spa or the hot tub. The dispenser includes a water treatment material. A supply of water is passed from the spa or the hot tub into the skimmer and through the filter cartridge so that the dispenser suspended in the filtered water in the filter cartridge is operable to dispense the water treatment material from the dispenser, and a supply of treated filtered water from the filter cartridge is returned to the spa or the hot tub. A contrast therapy cold plunge tub is supplied by hot and cold tempered water reservoirs, and a series of pumps and valves that allow multiple temperature change cycles that rapidly vary the water temperature within the tub between ambient, hot and cold temperatures. One example operates in a continuous immersion mode, where the water temperature is rapidly changed while the tub remains full. A further example operates in a drain and fill mode, where the tub including water at a first temperature is rapidly drained and then refilled with water at a second, different temperature.
