CENTRIFUGE WITH COATED WEIR PLATES
A decanter centrifuge, for separating a sludge into components, with a rotor and a scroll arranged inside the rotor. The rotor is configured at least partially as a solid bowl rotor with at least a cylindrical section and a conical section. The rotor includes a first end face, concluding the cylindrical section of the rotor, with a first diameter, and a second end face, concluding the conical section, with a second smaller diameter. A flange with one or multiple openings is arranged on the first end face, wherein one or multiple weir plates are fastened to the flange which at least partially cover the openings and are arranged to set a liquid level inside the rotor and form a first radial outlet edge for letting out a liquid at the first end face. The weir plates include an elastically deformable coating on their side facing the flange.
SOLID-BOWL CENTRIFUGE SCREW HAVING A SCREW FLIGHT
A solid-bowl centrifuge screw with a screw flight is provided. The screw flight has at least a first welding layer on a base body of the solid-bowl centrifuge and at least a second welding layer on the first welding layer. Thus, plural welding layers are disposed successively on one another and are applied by shaping build-up welding.
SOLID-BOWL CENTRIFUGE SCREW
A solid-bowl centrifuge screw is provided and has a screw flight with a profiled flight cross-sectional area. The screw flight has plural layers applied sequentially by build-up welding.
Solid-wall scroll centrifuge with front wall with discharge opening having a weir edge and an energy recovery device defining a discharge pipe on the outside of the front wall and in front of the discharge opening having the weir edge
A solid-bowl screw centrifuge has a centrifuge drum that can rotate about a longitudinal axis during operation. The centrifuge drum has a front wall with at least one discharge opening for discharging clarified product from the centrifuge drum. A weir edge is formed at the discharge opening radially toward the outside. An energy recovery device is provided for recovering energy from the clarified product that is being discharged. The energy recovery device defines a discharge pipe through which the clarified product passes as the clarified product flows out. The energy recovery device is situated on the outside of the front wall and in front of the discharge opening that has the weir edge.
Solid bowl screw centrifuge
A solid bowl centrifuge includes a rotatable drum having a cylindrical portion with length L.sub.1 and a conical portion with length L.sub.2, which, when added, give the length L.sub.T of the drum. A screw is arranged in the drum and is rotatable relative to the rotatable drum with a differential speed. At least two drum bearings for supporting the drum in the housing are spaced apart with a spacing L.sub.L. A spacing L.sub.L of the drum bearings for supporting the drum relative to one another is less than the length L.sub.T of the drum.
Solid-bowl screw centrifuge with an outlet device having a restrictor controlled by a floating body that floats on a liquid level of the material being separated in the centrifuge to automatically adjust the outlet in dependence on a throughput of the material
A solid-bowl screw centrifuge is provided for the separation of multiphase material. The solid-bowl screw centrifuge has a centrifuge drum that is rotatable around an axis and the centrifuge drum has at least one outlet for discharging a phase of the material from the centrifuge drum. The outlet has a restrictor controlled by a floating body that floats on the material to adjust the outlet automatically in accordance with a liquid level of the material in the centrifuge drum, and the liquid level, in turn, is dependent on the throughput of the material. The restrictor may include a weighted body that is subjected to centrifugal force and also may include a restricting body arranged in a discharge port of the outlet. The outlet may include a deflection device for changing direction of the material flowing out to a direction that is transverse to the longitudinal axis.
Solid bowl centrifuge with an outlet device having a deflecting segment to deflect fluid toward a circumference of the end wall and a guide downstream of the deflecting segment
An outlet device of a solid bowl centrifuge for separating a multi-phase material is arranged on an end wall of a centrifuge bowl that rotates about a longitudinal axis. An outlet opening is formed in the end wall and has a deflecting apparatus configured so that a fluid of the material that has passed through the outlet opening is deflected toward the circumference of the end-wall. The deflecting apparatus has a segment spaced from the longitudinal axis by a segment radius and has a deflecting segment, along which the deflected fluid can be conducted toward the circumference of the end-wall before being thrown off laterally by the outlet device. The outlet device has a guide that brings the deflected fluid to a lower-energy positional potential in the gravitation field of the solid bowl centrifuge before being thrown off by the outlet device.
Solid-bowl screw centrifuge with discharge channel inclined toward rotational axis of centrifuge
A solid-bowl screw centrifuge includes one or more discharge weir(s) for discharging clarified liquid out of a drum which has a rotational axis and a rotational direction. The centrifuge has one or more through-opening(s) in a drum cover, each of which is associated with a weir plate having a recess. An open discharge channel is formed on the through-opening at the recess, a deflection from a direction parallel to the rotational direction of the drum substantially into a circumferential direction in the rotational direction being carried out by the discharge channel. The discharge channel is designed such that exiting liquid is conducted over the base of the discharge channel to an overflow edge. The base of the discharge channel to the overflow edge is inclined inwards in the rotational direction relative to the tangential direction by an inclination angle 0 at the point of the overflow edge.
