OIL SEPARATOR
An oil separator includes: a spindle; a rotor rotable together with the spindle and having an inner peripheral space, the rotor configured to be rotated by introducing, into the inner peripheral space, separating oil and processing-target gas containing mist oil so that the mist oil is separated from the processing-target gas; a case having an internal space and an inlet hole communicating with the internal space, the internal space housing a separation chamber having the spindle and the rotor; and a lower partition wall member disposed in a lower end of the internal space and provided with a through hole penetrating a center of the lower partition wall member in an up-down direction, the spindle being inserted into the through hole.
TURBINE AND LIQUID SEPARATOR
A turbine having a turbine wheel, as used for example as a drive for active oil separators, and to a liquid separator using the turbine is described.
OIL SEPARATOR
An oil separator for separating oil droplets and/or oil mist from gases, in particular from blow-by gases of an internal combustion engine is described.
Centrifugal separator having a vortex generator
A centrifugal separator and a method for separation of particles from a gas stream is disclosed. The separator includes a frame, a gas inlet and a gas outlet. A centrifugal rotor is arranged to be rotatable in the frame around a rotational axis and includes a plurality of separation plates defining separation passages between the plates. A central gas chamber in the rotor communicates with a radially inner portion of the separation passages and the gas outlet. A space surrounding the rotor communicates with a radially outer portion of the separation passages and the gas inlet. A device is configured to bring the gas stream in rotation upstream of the rotor. The centrifugal rotor is configured such that the rotational flow of the gas mixture drives the rotation of the centrifugal rotor for separating particles from the same gas stream being conducted from the space surrounding the rotor, through the separation passages between the plates and towards the central gas chamber.
DEVICE FOR DECREASING CONCENTRATION OF HYDROGEN EXHAUSTED FROM FUEL CELL
A device for decreasing a concentration of hydrogen exhausted from a fuel cell through an exhaust line includes: a first housing connected to the exhaust line and having an exhaust gas moving path and an air inlet formed therein; a pumping part installed in the first housing and sucking air through the air inlet; a second housing coupled to the first housing and having an air diluting part and a diluted gas moving path formed therein, the air diluting part being connected to the exhaust gas moving path and the diluted gas moving path being connected to the air diluting part; and a nozzle member spraying the air introduced into the air inlet to the air diluting part while being rotated.
COMPRESSOR CENTRIFUGAL FILTER DISC AND ASSEMBLY
A centrifugal filter assembly useful to remove lubricant from a mixed flow exiting a breather of a lubricated compressor. The centrifugal filter assembly can include a stack of filter discs disposed in a housing. The housing can have a threaded opening to be fastened to the breather. A center support including a central shaft and arms are used to mount the discs. The discs can include flow guide and gap setting features. Mixed air can enter an inner hub of the filter stack and then progress in the space between filter discs until exiting the stack at a radially outer location. The mixed air can be received into the inner hub after first passing through a bearing used to support the center support, but other routes into the inner hub are also contemplated.
Centrifugal separator with stack of angled separation discs
A centrifugal separator is configured for cleaning of crankcase gases from an internal combustion engine. The centrifugal separator includes a rotor rotatably arranged inside a stationary housing. The stationary housing includes an inlet for crankcase gases, a gas outlet, and a liquid outlet. The rotor includes a stack of separation discs, each separation disc of the stack of separation discs having a center axis, an inner surface, and an outer surface. A circumferential inner end surface extends between the inner surface and the outer surface. The circumferential inner end surface of at least one separation disc of the stack of separation discs includes a substantially flat first surface portion extending at an angle of at least 20 degrees to the center axis.
SEPARATOR HAVING DIRECT DRIVE
A separator includes a preassembled drive and rotation system unit having an outer ring flange portion and a drive frame having an inner ring flange. The outer ring flange portion of the preassembled drive and rotation system unit is vertically connected to the inner ring flange of the drive frame. A rotatable drum is placed onto the preassembled drive and rotation system unit, in the drum at least one paring disk is arranged in a paring chamber, and one or more stacks each having one or more stackable intermediate elements are arranged between the inner ring flange and the outer ring flange portion in order to set an axial relative position at least between the drive frame and the drive and rotation system unit.
Fuel Oxygen Conversion Unit with a Fuel/Gas Separator
A fuel oxygen conversion unit includes a contactor defining a liquid fuel inlet, a stripping gas inlet and a fuel/gas mixture outlet. The fuel oxygen conversion unit also includes a fuel/gas separator defining a fuel/gas mixture inlet in flow communication with the fuel/gas mixture outlet of the contactor, an axial direction, and a radial direction. The fuel/gas separator includes a separator assembly including a core including a gas-permeable section extending along the axial direction and defining a maximum diameter, the maximum diameter of the gas-permeable section being substantially constant along the axial direction; and a stationary casing, the fuel/gas separator defining a fuel/gas chamber in fluid communication with the fuel/gas mixture inlet at a location inward of the stationary casing and outward of the gas-permeable section of the separator assembly along the radial direction.
