CENTRIFUGE DRUM
A centrifuge drum includes a drum lid, a drum base and a drum jacket. The drum jacket has discharge holes arranged in radial direction to a longitudinal axis. The drum lid and the drum base are arranged perpendicularly to the longitudinal axis diametrically opposite the drum jacket and the drum lid. The drum base and the drum jacket enclose an inner space of the centrifuge drum. The centrifuge drum, in the installed state, is rotatable in the centrifuge around the longitudinal axis, and in the operating state is rotatable around the longitudinal axis by a drive with a predeterminable rotational speed. A filter medium is disposed at an inner peripheral surface of the drum jacket, the filter medium being fixed by a fixing arrangement to the inner peripheral surface of the drum jacket. The fixing arrangement includes a fixing socket extending along a socket axis, with a fixing collar.

Centrifuge basket
A centrifuge basket includes a support basket with a support base and a support wall circumferentially extending around a basket axis of the centrifuge basket. The support base and the support wall have a plurality of through openings with passage areas of at most 500 square millimeters, and a filter fabric which is arranged in the support basket and covers the support base and the support wall on the inside. The filter fabric includes, viewed in a cross-section through the centrifuge basket, a plurality of regions distributed over a circumference which are formed radially inwards with respect to a circular basic shape of the filter fabric.
Methods and systems for processing photopolymerizable compositions
The present disclosure provides methods including obtaining an insert comprising a sieve defining openings each having a diameter of 10 to 200 micrometers; placing a volume of a fluid containing a photopolymerizable composition and a contaminant in the insert; and subjecting the volume of the fluid to a centrifugal force to separate the contaminant from at least a portion of the photopolymerizable composition by retaining the contaminant in the insert and passing at least a portion the photopolymerizable composition through the sieve of the insert to provide a separated photopolymerizable composition. Systems are also provided, including an additive manufacturing apparatus, a centrifuge, and an insert configured to be inserted into the centrifuge. The methods and systems can advantageously assist in reclaiming photopolymerizable composition that has been contaminated, for reuse.
Method for fixing a metal sheet and filter device produced therewith
A method for fixing a metal sheet serving as a filter element or the like to the inner peripheral wall of a filter device is disclosed. The metal sheet is arranged in a round shape, optionally with overlapping axial edge regions, on the inner peripheral wall of the housing of the filter device and is pressed against the peripheral wall of the housing with the aid of an expansion device. The disclosure further relates to a filter device produced in this way and to the expansion device used to carry out such a method.

Each row is skewed at a prescribed nonzero skew angle relative to a surface line on the perforated metal sheet, the surface line parallel to an axis of rotation of the cylindrical centrifuge basket. The method further includes roller forming the perforated metal sheet to produce a perforated basket wall sheet, coupling a first edge of the perforated basket wall sheet to a second edge of the perforated basket wall sheet to form a cylindrical basket wall, and coupling a first end of the cylindrical basket wall to a ring, coupling a second end of the cylindrical basket wall to a baseplate, or both to form the cylindrical centrifuge basket.
