Capped rim system for a bathtub
A bathtub includes a bathing well having a rim and an inner well defined in the rim. The bathtub further includes a rim cap disposed over the rim and an electronic component disposed in at least one of the inner well or the rim cap.
DUAL PLUMBING SYSTEM FOR A HOT TUB OR SPA
Systems, apparatus and methods for providing air and water to hot tub jets. The present teachings include jet assemblies, manifold assemblies, and related components, as well as methods of assembling hot tubs involving these components. In some cases, the present teachings describe the use of dual extrusion tubing to route air and water through adjacent, connected fluid conduits. In some cases, the present teachings describe a press-and-click method of connecting various components.
Multi-pump hot tub plumbing system
A hot tub plumbing system including a plurality of water pumps respectively provided at different sides of a hot tub having a plurality of jets, and a plurality of manifolds each having an intake port coupled to one of the water pumps, and each configured to have a plurality of output ports respectively connected by tubing to one of the jets of the hot tub.
FOOT SPA TUB PUMP AND METHOD
A foot spa tub includes a tub basin, a first magnetic drive member rotatably coupled to a drive motor, and a first casing supporting the magnetic drive member. The first casing is disposed against an exterior surface of a sidewall of the basin. A second magnetic drive member is rotatably coupled to a blade. The first and second magnetic drive members are magnetically coupled to each other so that the blade is drivingly coupled to the drive motor. A nozzle houses the second magnetic drive member and the blade. The nozzle is detachably securable to an interior surface of the sidewall by a magnetic attraction force between the first and second magnetic drive members. A method of circulating liquid in a foot tub spa is also provided.
HEATED FOG BATHING SYSTEM AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING SAME
A bathing system includes a primary reservoir, a secondary reservoir, and an atomizer. The primary reservoir is configured to hold a first volume of water. The secondary reservoir is in fluid communication with the primary reservoir by a channel. The secondary reservoir is configured to hold a second volume of water. The atomizer is disposed in the secondary reservoir, and is configured to introduce water from the second volume of water into a flow of air received in the channel by atomizing at least a portion of the second volume of water to form an air-water mixture upstream of the primary reservoir.
Pedicure chairs and pumps for use with pedicure chairs and related methods
A jet pump has an impeller with a magnet that can be rotated by a shaft having a magnetic drive plate and wherein the impeller and the magnetic drive plate are separated from one another by at least one solid wall surface. The impeller can be located in a pump housing having a base and a cover. The base can have a surface bearing so that the impeller can contact therewith and rotated against the surface of the surface bearing.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR WIRELESS TRANSMISSION OF ELECTRICITY FOR SPA ILLUMINATION
This disclosure relates generally to induction systems for wirelessly transmitting electricity. Specifically, embodiments of the present disclosure relate to methods and systems for wirelessly transmitting electricity to a light incorporated within, for example, a spa. In some embodiments, the systems include at least one pair of induction coils (e.g., receiving and transmitting coils) incorporated into a selectively removable spa seatback. The at least one pair of induction coils can be used to wirelessly transmit electricity to a light disposed within the selectively removable spa seatback. In some embodiments, a converter is incorporated into the system to adjust at least one characteristic of the light, such as brightness, color, and/or a lighting pattern.
HYBRID SPA
A hybrid spa has a power adapter connected to a 120 V outlet, a battery connected to the power adapter, and a plurality of spa components connected to the power adapter and the battery. The plurality of components includes a jet pump, a circulation pump, a main heater, and a controller. The battery powers at least some of the plurality of spa components and the power adapter powers the rest. The hybrid spa can further include a secondary heater connected to the battery and a power outlet. The secondary heater can assist the main heater when water needs to be heated by more than 5? F.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR A SPA JET SELECTIVELY ADJUSTABLE ALONG A WIDTH
This disclosure relates generally to jets for spas and, more specifically, to jets that can be adjusted laterally along a width of the proximal end of the jet housing. The angular adjustment of the proximal outlet of the jet may be at least 30?. In some embodiments, the jet assembly includes a housing with a distal inlet at a distal end of the housing and a proximal outlet at a proximal end of the housing, the proximal outlet laterally adjustable along a width of the proximal end of the housing, with the proximal outlet maintaining a constant depth with respect to the proximal end of the housing as the proximal outlet is laterally adjusted along the width of the proximal end of the housing.
Spa fixture lighting system
A spa fixture lighting system assembly includes a wall-fitting nut having a threaded inner circumferential portion and an interior radial seat, and a light source disposed on a light source seat selected from the group consisting of the interior radial seat, an exterior radial sidewall of the wall-fitting nut, or an exterior circumferential sidewall of the wall-fitting nut.
