Separator device
A separator device is provided for removing particles from suspension in a fluid comprises a housing having first and second ports for ingress and egress of fluid into and out of the housing, the first and second ports being on the same vertical line; and at least one separation chamber for separating solid particles from the fluid.
DUST COLLECTOR FOR VACUUM CLEANER
The present disclosure discloses a dust collector for a vacuum cleaner including a first cyclone installed within an outer case to filter out dust from air inhaled from an outside thereof and introduce the air from which dust has been filtered out into an inside thereof, a plurality of second cyclones accommodated in the inside of the first cyclone to separate fine dust from the air introduced to the inside of the first cyclone, and a cover member disposed to cover an inlet of the second cyclone, wherein cyclones disposed adjacent to each other among the first and the second cyclones limit a first space within the first cyclone, and the cover member forms a second space communicating with the first space between the inlet and the cover member, and a guide vane extended in a spiral shape along an inner circumference thereof is provided at the inlet to induce rotational flow in air introduced to an inside of the second cyclone through the first and the second space.
APPARATUS FOR CONTAMINANT REDUCTION IN A STREAM OF COMPRESSED GAS
An apparatus for contaminant reduction in a stream of compressed gas is disclosed. The apparatus includes an insert for directing the gas. The insert sits in a head portion which has an inlet leading to an inlet pathway for directing the gas towards the insert. The head portion also has an outlet leading from an outlet pathway for directing the gas from the insert towards the outlet. There is also a body portion sealed to the head portion for collecting contaminants removed from the gas. The insert includes a tubular portion connected to the head portion. Gas from the inlet pathway passes outside the tubular portion whilst gas going to the outlet passes inside the tubular portion. The insert has a baffle extending from the tubular portion for narrowing the gap between the insert and the body portion and has curved walls extending from the baffle causing the stream of gas to rotate thereby form a vortex.

Centrifugal cyclone separator
At least one embodiment of the invention relates to a centrifugal/cyclone separator which separates particles, liquid droplets and or condensing mists (water based and or hydrocarbon based nature) from gases without using a filter element. The design relies on the use of the inlet spiral tube, a first conical fin and the second conical fin, and the step on the cylindrical body and the extension of the vortex finder below second conical fin. With another embodiment, the design differs in that it relies on the insert with threaded or open area forming a flow path like spiral tube, while relying on the same or similar components as with the first embodiment listed above.
