A liner for use with a basin to contain a liquid features a plurality of bodies of flexible plastic. Portions of an inner face of a first body of flexible plastic are joined to corresponding portions of an inner face of a second body of flexible plastic, through which a plurality of openings are formed, to provide a multi-layer body of flexible plastic. Other portions of the inner face of the first body of flexible plastic are not joined to corresponding other portions of the inner face of the second body of flexible plastic, defining an air conduit between the first body of flexible plastic and the second body of flexible plastic for guiding pressurized air substantially from an air discharge apparatus.

A pool or spa system includes networked pool or spa devices that can be dynamically configured with network address by a controller. The controller can transmit a device discovery request on a network and can receive a discovery response from pool or spa devices that require a network address. The system determines and assigns the network addresses for the pool or spa devices based on unique device identifiers associated with the responding pool or spa devices. The network addresses assigned to the pool or spa device are transmitted to the pool or spa device to be used by the pool or spa devices to communicate with the controller over the network. The system can be used to discover and assign addresses to various types of pool or spa devices, such as pumps, underwater lights, chlorinators, water feature controllers, remote controllers, and/or other types of devices.

An interactive skin treatment and management device having a housing and a fluid basin coupled to the housing. The device can further include a fluid atomizer coupled to the housing, configured to atomize fluid from the fluid basin, and a computing display coupled to the housing. Here, the computing display is configured to receive input from a user. In addition, the housing can also include a lighting unit disposed around the computing display, and a heating or cooling element disposed within the housing. The housing of the device may also include a receptacle for receiving a capsule or container and a tube for releasing and dispensing the contents of the capsule or container, among other features.

Spa systems may be used all year round and in colder weather provide an enjoyable experience for users through the cold ambient outdoor temperature and the heated water of the spa. A spa is provided including a frame, a shell mounted to the frame defining a basin for holding water, at least one sensor for monitoring a spa component or water condition, a communications interface including a cellular transceiver, and a battery for providing power to the at least one sensor and to the communications interface when the spa is not connected to a power source. The spa also includes a controller in electrical communication with the at least one sensor and the communications interface. The controller is configured to, while the spa is not connected to the power source, receive information from the at least one sensor, process the received information, and cause the communications interface to wirelessly transmit the processed information to a remote source or central server.

An apparatus, system, and method involving controlling a spa system having a basin are provided. In one embodiment, the apparatus or system includes an electronics control portion and smart embedded software for receiving inputs from an operator of the spa system and for generating signals in response to inputs received from the operator. In addition, the apparatus or system includes a fluid mixing portion that receives the fluid from a supply and outputs the received fluid into the basin of the spa system. Moreover, the electronics control portion reads a temperature of the fluid in the fluid mixing portion and displays it to the control keypad. In another embodiment, the system includes a pump having a contactless, water sensor for dispensing water or air to a setting and for use with a disposable liner. The pump includes a jet assembly, a motor assembly, and a contactless, water sensor.

Systems, devices, and methods for treating wounds and infections by immersion therapy are provided along with methods for the use thereof. The systems and devices may include a basin and a heater-blower apparatus. The systems and devices aerate, agitate, and slow the cooling of a liquid in the basin to aid the blood-flow, debridement, and medication of a wound or infection.

A walk-in hot tub which can enable one or more users to walk into and out of a hot tub in a dry state may include a hot tub compartment. The hot tub compartment may have a hot tub compartment interior. A tub transfer compartment may be disposed adjacent to the hot tub compartment. The tub transfer compartment may have a transfer compartment interior. An openable transfer compartment door may provide walking access to a user from outside the tub transfer compartment into the transfer compartment interior of the tub transfer compartment. An openable hot tub compartment door may provide walking access to one or more users between the hot tub compartment interior of the hot tub compartment and the transfer compartment interior of the tub transfer compartment.

A system and method for automatically producing and monitoring a cryotherapy session within a chamber includes a plumbing system coupled to the chamber for cooling the chamber. A central controller may be coupled to the plumbing system. The central controller may be operable for: initiating the cryotherapy session within the chamber with a cryogenic gas flowing through the plumbing system for cooling the chamber to a first temperature; determining if the first temperature has been reached within the chamber; determining if a check-in command has been received for the cryotherapy session; and stopping the cryotherapy session after a predetermined period of time. The central controller may also monitor a cooling rate for the chamber and a heater associated with the cooling rate.
