At least one example embodiment is a method including: measuring a core temperature of a human patient; testing the human for the presence of a virus that causes disease; responsive to the human having both fever and presence of the virus, submerging at least a trunk and legs of the human in water comprising a surfactant, the human at least partially submerged in the water for a treatment period of at least three hours; and controlling a temperature of the water during the treatment period.
EQUINE EXERCISE BOOT ASSEMBLY AND ICE SPA
A boot assembly and method that simulates, in a static equine animal (stalled or hauled), the natural mechanical action of walking or other gaited exercise. The assembly has a boot, containing a shock absorbing pad that is fitted with one or more pulsing bladders disposed under or inside the shock absorbing pad. Pressuring and relaxing the pulsing bladder in the bottom of the boot rhythmically pushes against the sole and frog and against the toe of the equine hoof in much the same way that the hoof is exercised when the animal is moving. The pulsing action helps stimulate blood flow through the hoof and is beneficial to shod, injured, and transported horses. The assembly may be fitted on one or more hooves, and may be automated to provide timing and sequencing to simulate different gaits of the animal. In some aspects, the assembly is disposed in an ice boot or ice spa boot to also provide cryotherapy as well as simulated exercise.
Whirlpool bathtub and purging system
A whirlpool bathtub system includes a basin having a plurality of nozzles, a water feed line connected to the plurality of nozzles, an air feed line connected to the plurality of nozzles, a pump configured to circulate water to the basin through the water feed line, and a blower having an off condition and an on condition, the blower being configured to provide air to the basin through the air feed line. When the blower is in the off condition, the blower is configured to allow air to flow into the air feed line. When the blower is in the on condition, the blower is configured to increase the flow of air flowing into the air feed line.
INTELLIGENT POOL APPARATUS
A pool apparatus for users to do activities in the pool apparatus. The pool apparatus includes a pool main body, one or more than one reaction deices and a control circuit. The control circuit is connected to the reaction device and controls the reaction device according to a setting to increase additional functions of the pool apparatus. When the control circuit is connected to an external device via at least one wireless network, a user may use the external device to adjust the setting. The external device does not need to be paired with the control circuit in advance. Instead, the external device interacts with the control circuit via a protocol to access and adjust the setting.
