METHODS OF TREATING VIRAL INFECTIONS
Methods of treating viral infections. At least one example embodiment is a method including: measuring a core temperature of a human patient; testing the human for the presence of a virus that causes disease; responsive to the human having both fever and presence of the virus, submerging at least a trunk and legs of the human in water comprising a surfactant, the human at least partially submerged in the water for a treatment period of at least three hours; and controlling a temperature of the water during the treatment period.
Device for enhancing swimming pools by creating a bubbling and/or sparkling effect
The invention relates to a device for enhancing swimming pools by creating a bubbling and/or sparkling effect on a given surface. The invention relates to a device in the form of a mat for creating a diffusion of air bubbles rising on all or part of the surface of a swimming pool, making it possible to enhance an already-built swimming pool in a simple manner by adding bubbling and/or sparkling water effects. The device is made up of four major elements which are the multi-layer mat, of which the upper surface is perforated so as to provide the sought bubbling effect, the perforated edge strip attached to the appropriate side of the mat and to which a distribution cone is linked that, in turn, is connected to an air compressor. When the compressor is started up, the output flow is distributed evenly over the entire surface of the mat. The device according to the invention is especially intended for enhancing all types of swimming pools and leisure pools.
Flexible liner with inner and outer layers for use with a liquid-receiving basin
A liner for use with a basin to contain a liquid features a plurality of bodies of flexible plastic. Portions of an inner face of a first body of flexible plastic are joined to corresponding portions of an inner face of a second body of flexible plastic, through which a plurality of openings are formed, to provide a multi-layer body of flexible plastic. Other portions of the inner face of the first body of flexible plastic are not joined to corresponding other portions of the inner face of the second body of flexible plastic, defining an air conduit between the first body of flexible plastic and the second body of flexible plastic for guiding pressurized air substantially from an air discharge apparatus.

INTEGRATED MANIFOLD AND VALVE ASSEMBLY
An integrated valve and manifold assembly includes a water valve configured to control water flow from one or two valve outlets. At least one of the outlets is coupled to a manifold. In some examples, the manifold is a dual-extrusion manifold having at least one air channel and at least one water conduit, and the water valve has a pair of air channels attached to a periphery of the water valve and configured to couple to the manifold air channels. In examples wherein at least one of the manifolds is a dual-extrusion manifold, a top portion of the assembly includes an air valve configured to control flow of air to air channel(s) of the dual-extrusion manifold. In other examples, the assembly includes a one-outlet or two-outlet water valve configured to couple to water manifolds, with no attached air channels or air valves.

Air injectors for bathing installations
Air injectors are provided for conveying fluid and/or gas (e.g., air) into the fluid of a bathing apparatus. The air injectors can include a component for attachment to an outside surface of the bathing apparatus that can be hidden from the view of a user and another component for attachment to a source of the fluid and/or gas (e.g., air). The two components can be connected together for use or disconnected for servicing and cleaning the injectors, as well as servicing a check valve or the injectors.

Personal portable therapy chamber
A portable, personal therapy chamber for provision of infrared radiation therapy. The therapy chamber includes a pair of telescopically positionable cabins that are lightweight and easily portable by a single user. The therapy chamber is configured for use by a single person lying generally prone on a surface. The cabins are disposed to overlie the user and include a plurality of infrared radiation elements that direct infrared energy toward the user's body. When using the therapy chamber, the user's head extends from an open end of the cabin. A facial treatment fixture is integrated with the cabin to be extendable longitudinally from a terminal end thereof and to overlie the user's face/head. The therapy chamber can be configured to provide mild hyperbaric oxygen therapy in addition to infrared therapy.
